You have a buddy who is about to visit for 2 weeks, and you've tested new drivers twice in the last week hoping to find a few extra yards before you and your buddy go out to play.  All this while knowing you can't trust the new driver that quickly and would end up back with old-faithful by the end of the 2 weeks.

Wait, you haven't done that yet?!  Dude, get with the program!  That's part of the curriculum at the WRX School of Club Hoing.  It's not quite day 1 stuff, but it's definitely in the first semester.  Right now I'm working on putting together a Snake Eyes nostalgia set because I always enjoyed building Snake Eyes clubs when Golfsmith was still around, and they were pretty damn good clubs, for the most part. I've actually got all the heads I'll need and then some.  Just waiting on shafts to get here and I'll get to work some rainy day when I can't actually get out and play.

When you have 2 full sets that you regularly play, a vintage bag, an old school bag with butter knives and wooden woods, and you're working on a nostalgia bag ATM to relive days gone by.  And when you have to buy a 33 gallon trash bin to put all your extra clubs in (besides the giant Datrek cart bag full of drivers and FW's), and it's so full that there are iron sets and putters leaning against the walls around said trash bin.  You also have a fully-equipped clubmaking shop with cabinets for shafts and club heads, tons of Rubbermaid shoeboxes full of grips, and a newly crafted, temperature-controlled hot box for heat curing epoxy.  (Seriously, I gotta make a thread showing that thing to you guys.  It's freaking awesome.)  I am a WRXer through and through, from the tips of my toes to the top of my bald-azz head.

When the realtor who comes out to "stage" your house for sale, suggests you'd be better off starting a pro shop.

 

Apparently she'd never heard the terms "golf ball closet," "golf shoe closet," "Back up golf polo closet" or golf club room. She didn't see listing those as features of the house in the same positive light that I did.

I was just thinking yesterday what I would do if I decide to move and sell my house... what do I do with the 12 staff bags full of clubs..

or worse yet if I died tomorrow.. what would my wife do with them?? 🤣🤣🤣

I posted it before but I knew I was in the golfwrx stud club with one exact moment:

 

I bought a club on here, and then negotiated a trade and flipped the club before it arrived at my house...

 

Didnt even hit the thing. Opened the box, made sure the club was in there and threw a new label on it and passed it on.

 

That was when I knew I had a problem LOL.

The MAN picked me once, for a putter... the original AXIS 1 putter... the ugliest putter ever made... LOL

 

I actually love the balance of it but the lie angle was way too flat for me, the head weight felt off, the strike didn't feel good. All this time I've been waiting for a better putter that had the same balance characteristic, and now the L.A.B. putters exist, and I'm getting twitchy...
