Tried these out today. Pretty nice. The adjustable shaft feature is kinda cool.

How’s the feel?

Nice soft feel with a faint ting sound on harder hits. Not as soft as a white hot face, but much much softer than the vault 2.0. Probably one of the best feeling synthetic face putters out there, not to soft or hard.

I agree with this statement completely. Nice soft feel, but not too soft. I am a big fan of the zb2

Rolled these extensively over the weekend. They are really good putters, a huge improvement over the Sigma G series IMO.

  • Face is very soft, but you still hear feedback on longer putts. Just a great soft feel off the face, plus I do like the TR grooves to help with distance consistency.
  • Quality of paint and finishing is very good, my worries over the initial pictures were put to rest.
  • Adjustable length feature is excellent, and you don't even notice the screw in the butt end of the grip, hidden nicely.
  • I rolled as many models as they had, but since I'm in the market for a mallet (just for a change and I want some extra stability for those 3-5 footers), I focused on the Tyne 4 and Fetch (they didn't have the regular Tyne).
  • The Tyne 4 looked great and was very stable, but I felt I didn't make as many compared to the Fetch (possibly because I need less toe hang).
  • I hated the Fetch when I first saw the pictures online, but it quickly became one of my favorites (I haven't tried the Tyne face balanced model yet). It felt incredibly stable, and I could align it so easily with the two lines in the back in addition to the cut out in the center. I really enjoyed the heavier weight as well.
  • The PP60 grip had a great tacky feel to it, and I liked the shape, but I'd be curious to try out the PP61 as it's inspired by the PP58 I used for a year and a half on my B60.

Try these out, they are very good putters. There should be a model in the lineup that works for you. I would also advise to keep an open mind with different shapes and alignment lines as typically I gravitate towards Anser/Anser 2/Mid mallet shapes, but the Fetch gave me huge confidence standing over putts outside of the gimme range.

Cheers.

I'll echo what others have said on the feel. Not quite as soft as White Hot, but very nice. Much better than the Sigma G and arguably the best feel of any putter that isn't one piece.

The ZB2 and the Arna were my favorites, with Arna nudging ahead. The stealth finish is superior. I wish the ZB2 was offered with it.

I would probably get one with the PP58 midsize over the stock grips.

When you say the feel of the Sigma 2 is better than the Sigma G, what aspects are using to define better? Audible feedback, roll, softness?

I might be the minority here, but I putted with the Sigma 2 line today at the PGASS and I was not a fan at all. It literally felt like the face was made out of straight rubber. Like I was putting a bouncy ball. I already have distance control issues with my current putter and was hoping these would be the answer, but I could only imagine the Sigma 2’s would make it worse. I was really looking forward to these and wanted to fall in love with the Sigma 2 Tyne, but I could not get over the feel. I had to put them back on the rack and never picked them up again. I’m sure a lot of people will like these, they just weren’t for me.

technically the face is, Ping calls it: dual-durometer PEBAX material.

All of the above. I rolled it next to a WHP #9. The WHP was only slightly softer. Next to a Sigma G B60 and D66, the Sigma 2 feels better, rolls better, and just seems steadier during the stroke.

Nice job PING! Hit these today and they are a great line-up for $220 US price range. Anser heads are finally up to 350g, look like PING realized a mistake and dropped the Tyne back to 365g, there's such a thing as too heavy.

YES, the insert is soft but still feels solid. I thought it felt better than the microhinge and more White Hot insert like feel. Didn't see any immediate issues with distance control or accuracy.

REALLY bummed though there only Kushin is center shafted. Would have taken a heel shafted Kushin Sigma 2 home with me if there was such a thing. Have to assume this is because the Sigma G Kushin wasn't a great seller...The Stealth Tyne and Arna are my top 2 contenders for now, will have to hit them some more before I can decide.

I'm going to have to start stocking up on 350g heads because lighter weight heads are getting shockingly difficult to find these days.

unfotunately my shop only has the sigma 2 putters with the 60 grip.... still enjoyed toying with it, but could tell I need a more rounded grip. Buddy over there said he would get one ordered with the 62 grip so I can try it next week.

oh..... and picking the ball up with the fetch off the green and from the hole is very fun and addicting haha

*no cups were damaged in the process of retrieving balls

Forever Changing at this point.......

I played around with these at Golf Galaxy today. The very first thing I noticed was a little rattle in the grip when I put it on the ground. I have no idea if the adjustable length screw thing wasn't tightened properly, but it did not feel good.

The actual putter felt fine. I'm used to Odyssey White Hot inserts and this didn't feel terribly dissimilar, but it did seem a little... rubbery?
