Whats the club you've had in your bag the longest?

Just curious. I still use my Cobra CNC Milled putter I stole from my dad back in middle school (1993). Never taken it out of the bag, it just works and I know its feel perfectly.

Until this year I was still gaming a Cobra Baffler Pro 18* hybrid and a Taylor Made Kia Ma Rossa Fontana putter. Both had been in the bag for over 10 years.

That Baffler Pro was awesome. Great off the tee, off the deck, out of fairway bunkers, punch out from under trees, you name it.

I only replaced it b/c I wanted a stiffer shaft, and found a deal I couldnt turn down on an 818H2 in the same loft. Its sitting in my garage; I'll never get rid of it.

The Kia Ma will go up north to reside in my spare bag at my buddy's house in NJ.

My irons are 21-years old. They are my oldest clubs in my bag. My driver is 1-year old, my fairway woods are 2-years old, my 52* and 56* wedges are 2-years old. Finally, my putter is a custom-fit EDEL and is 7-years old.

Ping pal 2 from my first set of clubs when I started to play golf in 1992. Never left the bag........(ok, it was stolen in 94’ and replaced with another one a few weeks later, so it’s actually my 2nd one ?)

The oldest club permanently in my bag is my 915Fd 3 wood. On occasion, I have a 712U 3 iron in there as well but that is changed back and forth with my 915Hd.

Until recently, my whole bag was clubs that were about ten to fifteen years old.

Now, I’ve changed everything to be from 2016-2019, whether used or new - except for the V-Steel.

TM Rescue Dual 19 degree hybrid. I bought it used and haven't been able to find something that works better for me. I think it's been in my bag for 9 or 10 years now.

Currently the Burner Irons from 2009, but have G410s ordered and hopefully will have in the next week or two.

After that, it will be the Bettinardi BC1 that I have had since 2010. No plans to replace that any time soon.

Taylormade Jetspeed 22 degree hybrid, that I got for $20 used in 2015. It came with a 99 gram graphite iron shaft (Matrix Ozik HD Program), which helps me from hooking the ball and helps me launch it higher, which is good for me. Before this, I was always fighting the hooks with hybrids, and I tended to hit hybrids lower than they should really go.

My Cleveland 588 CB irons have been in my bag since 2017, and I plan on keeping them in my bag for a very long time.

My driver is a Cobra Amp Cell from 2013 I think. It keeps finding its way back in my bag somehow! I know two guys at my club that have been playing the same putters for 40+ years. One is a bullseye and the other is some blade style putter not sure what brand, but OLD!

Driver: Ping G15 9* with Oban Devotion 7, high launch low spin combo, found nothing better or worth replacing it.

Putter: Yes Valerie model, never thought a second to replace this money club for me, planning to keep it for life.

 

Very Interesting thread, says more to me than marketing sales pitch of the newest products. That being said, I replaced this week my trusty Fairway Titleist 906f with a Callaway Mavrik, the feel was to good to pass on it. Also added Ping g410 Crossover #2 to fill the gap with the 3 iron.
