Weird... several items on the PXG website are not available to purchase like the 0211 hybrid and the Proto hybrid. They can’t keep up now and have to slow down the pipeline?

Saw the Gen2 irons are now sold out too.  Wonder if they will restock them or if they are now donezo?

I just price out an 0211 6 hybrid.  never mentioned anything about being out of stock.

Talked to discount dans yesterday. Apparently they are no longer taking 0211 ‘21 orders. PXG wants those to be bought directly through PXG.

The 0211st looks nice... I would have liked to see this iron offered in black, but it looks like thats not a option. Maybe the gen 4's will do it....

Would love to hear experiences with forgiveness on the 0211ST. I’ve heard they’re really forgiving. Similar to a 0311T? Or 0311P?

 

I’m a single digit handicap and have played the 0311P for the last 3-4 years (Gen 2 and 3). 
 

any thoughts?

In the UK the pricing is slightly different but still, if the 0211st's going to be around that price, with them looks, got to be looked at atleast!

I thought they felt better than my Gen3 0311T's and forgiveness was very similar, maybe a little better as shaving the cavity near the heel pushed COG out toward the toe a little and the MOI is off the charts for a blade.  I hit them very similar to the my T's, spin numbers were up which reduced carry a bit, but holding the green w/ those will be easy.  I am definitely considering putting them in the bag.  Was fit into the same shaft in the 0211STs as my 0311T's.

How's the forgiveness in the longer irons like 5/6? It would be hard to combo these irons so if I were to go for them I'd have to go all blades which seems a little daunting.

Stock shaft choices are a giggle...I'm sure there are more available if you call, but...

Same lofts as 0311T so you could combo with those for long irons. That’s what I’m considering anyway.

I'd want to weaken the lofts because the STs are a bit strong for a blade. I'll have to hit both in person but I don't think the 0311T really sits in the same category something like a P7MC or 620CB sits in based on looks. That's my biggest concern. I want to stay more in the player's category, but if they are similar size heads and have good turf interaction I could see myself comboing them.

Yeah, I totally get it. That’s why I was hoping the 0211FB would make it to release. Those look a little thicker in the sole and have the tungsten weights. Might have made a good candidate for combo with the ST.

I've thrown enough money at PXG and their crappy stock shafts, that I am done with them for now.  With an iron like the 0211, you either go with stock Elevate 95 or Tour, or MMT 70 or 80, which in my case is a compromise (either too light or too heavy with the Elevate Tour).  And then have a failure that you either need to return, sell or trade.  Or, you go with any other sort of shaft (or grip for that matter), push the price north of $1k, and lose the benefit of the low entry price.  Ironically, out of trying a bunch of PXG iron sets new, the only set I still own and like is a set of original 0311 with NS Pro 950 stiff shafts, that I picked up used.  YMMV.

To me it's laughable that something like an X100 is an upcharge shaft. Especially from a company that's supposed to be a luxury brand. How come any TT shaft is a stock option for most other companies, but not PXG? It makes no sense to me. Kind of BS that it ends up bringing the cost way up. 40$ per club ends up bringing 5-PW up to $1100. For something that's supposed to be more affordable, it ends up being the same as every other manufacturer, or even a little more expensive than something like P7MB. I can actually just buy a bunch of X100 shafts for less than half the cost of the upcharge too. Feels like they're just hoping people won't pay attention or won't care about paying the extra money. Not to mention the absolutely horrendous grip selection.
