Nice objective list of options you've provided there. 

 

Why is it that someone who roots against Reed also has to "throw food at their TV?"

 

A question like that has the potential to skew results - or de-motivate people from participating. 

 

To solve the problem, why not make the other options equally as ludicrous? Like:

 

"I root for Reed and when he wins I throw it in everyone's faces because I like the attention I get when I make other people angry."

 

and

 

"I don't care either way because I'm really frickin' cool and all of this is just beneath me."

 

That would al least be consistent.

I am indifferent with Reed. But I love competition and enjoy good, highly skilled golf and those with the ability to close the deal.

I appreciate the efforts. I'm not sure you've really solved the problem, but the list has certainly become weirder - which is a victory in an of itself.

For PR to go out there with Faldo and his gaggle of blatantly biased blabbermouths, and Brandel The Sanctimonious, and a tweeter crap storm, and do the work in the trenches under pressure to close was great to see.

 

5 shot win. Biggest margin there since TW won by 8 I think.

I tried to muster up some faux outrage but then I went on living my life.  I never understood the need to put athletes on some kind of pedestal.

I was in the grocery store and they had Us Magazine at the checkout dredging up Elin, Tiger and Rachel all over.  The pearly white, oh sure pure news media/entertainment media that Jim Nantz, Nick Faldo, CBS and others are part of.  The people who smeared reed but may have given Rory a free pass.  I do like Rory by the way. 

 

Rachel has a new sap lawyer fat baldy sugar daddy who dumped his wife for "long on the tooth" and aging botox Rachel.  I think the fat lawyer guy is not that rich so she is flogging a book and interviews.  I guess she burned through the $10 million in supposed hush money.

 

If Phil or Reed had done what ___________ had done, they would have never play on the tour again.

PS: I do not like or dislike Tee Dub or Reed.  I think the really bad stuff may have made someone a better person.

I'm rooting against just cause he should of asked Official first before picking ball up. And yeah that was a pretty big bounce. No food throwing though cause I spend hours making dozens jalapeno poppers and pouring a cocktail.

Versus 19 people who root for him.

 

Huge win for Reed!

 

Before this weekend, I’m thinking that like the majority throws food at the TV when he is on and like 2 people root for him 😂

It’s actually consistent with what we see as far as all the pro-PR posts on the other boards, the media who is split on this, and all the congrats PR is getting on tweeter.

 

During the “sand incident” really nobody was chiming in to support him much less root for him. 
 

The total whining meltdown of Faldo and Brandel in the face of giving Rory (and the rest of the field) a pass for doing the same thing has helped PR quite a bit; )

I think it says little of us that we look for a villain, someone to hate.  Why do we even care... If he truly is breaking the rules, then the PGA should do something.  It's not like they don't have it completely on film.  They have it all, and did nothing... When they dished out strokes to Reed for pushing the sand back away from his ball, he didn't argue, he just took the penalty and moved on.  I can see an argument where he may push the boundaries of the rules, but there are people in charge of that.  Either they do their jobs or we STFU.  If anyone is the villain here it should be the rules officials for not "protecting the field".  If what he did is within the scope of the rules, then the media needs to tread carefully, though they won't.

Yeah, this is from BC's Twitter feed.  "a pall had been cast"  Really?  who cast it?  You? "Sir" Nicky?  give me a break, these jokers think golf is way more important than it is, step back to reality.  The self importance displayed by BC and Faldo makes me is funny, Nantz is just about Nantz.  These jokers could have totally flipped the script and talked about how well PR performed under the scrutiny, but they made it hollow.  

 

I loved PR's post game interview, they asked him what he had learned, it was NOT the answer they thought they would get.  LOL.  I'm glad he isnt playing their game.
