I was worried about that too, but I didn't notice anything on some sunny Michigan days.

That's good to hear.

I like that they included a slant neck in the lineup.

The tradition line will be more popular, the Super-60 or whatever that blade with the slant neck is nice, would have given it a shot if it came LH but the 45 I might try as well.

Outside did the silver top cast any glare? That was one thing I thought about when I saw it indoors.

If it comes apart like the one James Robinson was sent, then it could go straight to the body shop for some serious painting.

I find it odd that the lie angle for standard, one length & armlock are all the same. Seems like one length & armlock should have considerately more upright lie angles

Perhaps Cobra align to the "forearm should match the shaft angle", like Stan Utley teaches? But I've seen folks testing these with them under the ulna.

Disappointed that none of the higher end 3d printed models come with a slant neck option.

Same here, otherwise I'd seriously consider adding the Agera to the collection. Never been a fan of the bend and I putt best with a heel/slant neck option.

I'm possibly the minority- I think the Agera looks fantastic.  Put my pre-order in last night.  I kind of miss the giant mallets a la the og spider and some of the big odysseys. The tech seems undeniable also- I'd been eyeing a Sik and have wanted to try something face balanced. Pretty pumped!

- probably check the BST for a barely used Agera in July someone though -

It's the alignment aide for me. I don't know how I would possibly line that up accurately with it just in the middle of the putter. At least extend a line out to the front of the putter.

I am a mallet guy. I went to PGASS and had my guy pull these putters. They are in the back waiting to be put out on release day. While the grip is a bit loud, the putters themselves look fantastic and very premium. I had no intentions of liking the 3D printed versions but the mallets in this line up look very nice. The silver on top seems to have just enough matte finish to it that the glare wouldn't be bad. The alignment aides are very good as well. The traditional versions are still probably what I would purchase. The spider version is very good looking and the #7 is as well. Feel was very good with a nice sound. I couldn't take the plastic off and I was using the PGA chrome soft balls so I'll have to try them with my preferred ball before purchase.

Since you seen these in person, how does the size compared to the actual spider and #7?  I will be purchasing the stingray-40 and am hoping for somewhere between the Spider tour and X.

I didn't lay they down next to anything but they are on the smaller side. I play a #7 WHP now and its the larger head. The Cobra was more like the smaller head shape.

Played with a few at PGATSS today (even though they are t suppose to come out until the 4th. I thought I may like the Grandsport-35 the best but it wound up being the lower priced Vintage Sport-45 that got me the most.

The former looked bulky for my eye but still felt and performed great.

Played with the mallets a bit too. Especially the Vintage Stingray and Torino. Both were excellent to me.

They are modern looking but imho they don’t look any busier than either Odyssey and TM recent putters. EXOs are way busier. I think stroke lab blacks are more of a comparison.

Looked great, performed great! Had to keep in plastic but I had sweet distance control with all of them. I have the Vintage Sport-45 on hold for me. Will pick it up in a few hours.

Edit: I meant Vintage Sport-45.

Thought I'd offer my input here. I preordered the Nova. As much as I liked the idea behind the 3D printing, I think the design is just to busy and have always been a fan of the Odyssey 7 shape but other than the white hot insert I hated all the other inserts

Anyways, got out for 9 holes yesterday after rolling for a day or so on the putting mat at home.

Can say I am instantly impressed. Setups really well for me, actually find the stock grip to be one of the best

The SIK face was impressive. I've never tried a SIK putter, but definitely noticed on a a few puts that I hit a little low on the face the roll was just still so pure and ended up making it to the hole where normally those come up a ball short. Maybe its the whole new broom sweeps clean, but I shot a 32 with 13 putts. We'll take it.  more testing to come!

FWIW my gamer is a Spider Tour

Would recommend a try on these. $249 is not bad by current putter prices and I was really really impressed with the feel of that new face

I have putted with the Agera and have one on order. Excited to get it out on the course and test it. I am turning into a putter whore but idc. I think its interesting what they are doing, and I like the implementation of the SIK tech.

I personally have forecasted Cobra buying/absorbing SIK, and I think this is kind of a test for it. With the connection with Bryson.. it seems like a good business move at the moment. But you never know.

PGATSS has all these out now and are selling them. I got to try the Stingray and the Supernova today. The SR is too small of a head size for my taste. The SN is perfect size. There is a fairly large gap in feel as well. The traditional putters just do not feel as solid or as pure as the 3D versions. It’s just a different level IMO. The roll on these putters is fantastic for my stroke. I guess the Sik face really works. I went in and expecting to get the SR but it was easy to spend the extra $100 on the SN.
