I ordered the TSR2 16.5 at 1” short. It came with the blue weight. It feels a bit lighter than normal but I actually like it. TSR4, TSR2+, TSR2 16.5 left to right. A86A52B6-69A7-4B7D-9B18-08EED86A1FED.jpeg.0aca0a893a77a42ae9f32fd1f23b9ac3.jpeg

Beautiful!! Bomb and gouge all day long I see... No irons necessary!

What shaft did you end up in the 16,5 - weight and flex? What grip?

Im looking at the same combo you have

Hzrdus 4G 70 6.5 with the GP NDMC Black/Red. Clearly I like the black/red/white color scheme on my golf equipment.

I'm very curious on what people are doing for their 7w. My apex uw launches too low so I'm going to go to a tsr2 7w, but unsure on shaft. Think I want to stay in the GD line.

I have the 7W with the HZRDUS. This combo launches absolute mortars. If you want a high-launch weapon, you want the 7W.

My 7W is actually on BST. The combo is too high-launch for my game. Ironically, I ordered a 21* UW to take its spot as I need a low/low solution for that spot in the bag.

Are the TSR3 & TSi3 weights the same?  I plan on re-using my same shaft from my TSi3 and the weights and little weight track look almost identical but I didn't look too hard.  Just want to try and keep the same swing weight from driver to driver.

Weights between the TSi Drivers and the TSR Drivers are not the same.  Here is the current chart.

How is the gapping between the 2+ and the 16.5? What distances are you getting out of them? I have an open spot in the bag, so I'm thinking about doing something like that -- TSR2+, then 16.5, then 7W, then my 5 iron. I know my current 7W into 5I set-up gaps fine, so I really have two clubs to play with between the driver and 7W.

I’m starting to think I may need a different shaft for the new 7w, launch my TSi3 5w with AD DI higher than the 7w with 1k black.

If you're used to AD DI launch characteristics you're gonna have a bad time with the 1k shafts.

Would like to hear TSR driver’s surface in the face center (diamond laser etching)

My TSR2 has very smooth surface while TSR3 has rough surface, which is opposite from my TSIs.

My TSI3 has smooth surface while 2 and 4 has rough surface.

However, one of my friend who is tour player has smooth face TSR3 and he got his driver in early July.

So maybe there are some differences depending on production time?

The reason why I ask is, I personally prefer feel of TSI3 compared to TSR3.
My TSI3 has more trampoline feel on impact while TSR3 has much more harden feel.

My friend with smooth texture says his TSR3 feels the same with TSI3.

So maybe these feel has something to do with laser etching texture?

Would love to hear WRXer’s thoughts.

I have only played one round so far, and unfortunately the one swing with the TSR2+ wasn’t great. But I do expect the gap to be just fine. 16.5 (playing 1” short at 42”, at 17.25*) gets me about 228 carry.

My new U505 22* gets 215 carry.

TSR2+ will likely be about 250 carry if I put a relatively decent swing on it. My OG SIM Ti at 15.75 carries 240 on a solid strike.

This with 107-110 driver swing speed.

Damn, could have done a swap, have the new 7w with 1k, launches too low.  I would be interested in shaft

TSR4 uses the 11g (Black) and 3g (White) weights as stock offering.

I am thinking the 15g weight would be something I would be interested in for the 4.

I've seen 175 cc in various marketing info. TSR2+ is 190.

What length are you all playing your TSR2 or TSR3 3 woods??  Mine is at 43" but feels a touch too long.

3w is the most difficult club to hit. A long shaft makes it even more difficult.

Maybe this deserves its own thread, but I see so many women using a 3w from everywhere because they don't know better, and all they do is duff or worm-burn it because it is so difficult to launch at low club head speed. They would be so much better off with a 9w or lofted hybrid.

why single women out there buddy? I’d say I see more men having difficulty with 3 wood and launching it, than any of the 10-20 handicap ranged women at the course I’m a member at, which includes a lot of 60-70 year olds female players.
