 it is really good. i was not swinging my best today as I have not touched a golf club in a month and was feeling very stiff and not fluid. I am not super picky on sound but it is muted and sounds good. A feeling I love with a driver is the feeling that the face is soft and the ball sticks to the face for a long time. i know that is feel and probably not reality but that is a feeling I get here. I thought that last Cobra driver was maybe the second best driver of the year. I did produce the highest ball speeds last year and I think this is better. It for sure looks better. The face is cleaning and there is no more mill lines on the face. i dont know anything about the tech story here so i cant comment on what they have done and what the goal is. The head felt stable and fast. it looks great and played well. 

 

I have a paradym coming but head to head, I would not be surprised to see this win.

That driver looks good! 3 wood looks like a bullet machine but Doesn't look inviting off the deck, at least not as inviting like a shallower ping or rogue st does. How'd ya hit the 3 wood?

@QuigleyDU where did you hit these at today. Iron pics looked good. Like I said in other thread, always want try cobra just ever pulled trigger. I’d love to play OneLength this year and some Aerojet woods. Anyone know price or Launch date for Cobra.

Assuming Cobra follows the LS/Tour/Plus styling from previous years, on the weight forward options, the 12g weight in the draw position is actually neutral.  The 12g in the toe would be fade biased.  These versions have a touch more open face angle and a biased CG.

I grabbed a weight kit for my LTDxLS and have 10g weights in both positions.  Depending on the flight characteristics of the Aerojet, I may do the same

Its also not a knock on Cobra either, 1) its essentially the same story for everyone (same driver, different appearance/colorways/finish), and 2, LTDx might be the best overall driver Ive ever had.

No, he said that this time last year...just before litdixels was released he said this one (the aerojet) was going to be special.

Haha. Great way to sell clubs. Rave about the model that isn’t on the shelves. 
 

The LTDx LS has potential. I got to spend a little time with it. But the head weight was kind of on the light side. And couldn’t really tweak it for a proper test.

Gotcha. So he made the comment about his current driver at the time sucking after he had said the aerojet would be special? I thought he had said his current driver sucked, and then awhile later talked how special the aerojet will be. My bad if I had that backwards.

His main gripe was losing too much speed on mishits. I think LTDx made a massive improvement on that, but maybe he just liked this one better. Who knows for sure. Ill still listen to the tech story when it comes out, but it being about the same is pretty much what I had expected anyways.

His comments about his driver sucking was the Radspeed year. He notoriously played the old original LTD for a long time until last year. He praised the LTDx on release but just said next years would be even better.

Other thing to consider is feel. Cobras drivers are a bit on the firm side, as mentioned above this feel is much softer. Could also be something bryson desires too.
