Yeah, some people are reporting that he may go to ON but that doesn’t seem to fit since Charlie signed with Greyson.  If TW was getting share equity with ON, why wouldn’t he take Charlie with him?

Maybe Charlie wants to do his own thing and not rely on his dad for everything. I'm sure Tiger has a big influence but during the PNC he was wearing Puma shoes. Also have to think that JT is a role model and probably looks up to him and going with Greyson was something he wanted.

Yeah, CW was wearing Puma shoes (a year or two ago) and TW was wearing FJ shoes.  I just think if TW is getting equity share with any company, he would package a deal for CW too.

Who knows maybe, he did, again maybe wants Charlie to establish his own legacy but definitely won't be hurting.

If the rumor is that he truly owns the TW logo, then simply wearing that with someone like ON or Greyson (or even TM) producing the item seems like a logical move.    It's not like he solely wore swoosh items.

My guess is they will leave Jordan brand and just make more retro shoes since they seem to sell out regularly.

It was last month or so, and a UK based podcast, but the discussion I listened to was that outside of Jordan branded items, Nike apparel has hardly any sales.  And TW hasn't driven anything in the market.  Nike can divest of that line and barely lose something like 1% of their sales.  

 

Their discussion was that the Jordan brand would push much harder into Golf shoes which have become more popular, and Nike would sell off their apparel brand to a Srixon/Dunlop group.  

 

One of the specific items mentioned, was there was a special release Jordan Travis Scott shoe release earlier this year (that launched with Brooks) and it alone made more money that all of Nike apparel.

Breaking news: Tiger will sign with Pro Keds and Jordache jeans.  He “felt like a caged Tiger while having to wear Nike” and is excited to be set free with cutting edge tech and increased range of motion of a mom-fit pant.

He is also using Dove body soap.  When asked about this, he replied “I want to smell as good as I play”

Nike need to off load some major endorsements. You don't see as many people wearing Nike apparel or trainers. New Balance, Asics and Adidas are far more prevalent and the likes of Converse, Vans and Salomon also gaining market share. I cannot see any other apparel or shoe business offering Tiger a big deal for playing a few rounds a year and missing cuts.
