~10 Handicap (unofficial), Mizuno MP18 MMC's w/ Modus 120x
55 yo, 22 handi and i play mizzy mp-20 4-p
How would you describe the playability of these in terms of forgiveness and distance. I'm 56 and looking for all the help I can get in a nice looking package. Did you consider the MP-20 HMB?
15HC and playing 718 AP1's 5i-GW
I'm playing Ping G's primarily. My other bag is Maltby KE4 Tour+. Under the circumstances, I'm guessing my handicap is 20.

first off, let me say that i am a 22 handy because of my driver and not my iron play. the playability of the mp-20's is exceptional, i have always been told blades are for single digits to low cappers but i just love the way they look at address and the way they sound. first off i have been playing golf for ten years now and have gone back and fourth between mizzy and srixon but have ultimately went w/ mizzy. i have never been in a bad position because of my blades they aren't the problem, i believe it's the indian not the arrow and no amount of cavity back will make me a single digit. left to right, turf interaction, feel are just perfection. true, they r not as long as CB's or other configurations u may be used too but i rather take an extra club, swing easier and get a great result, rather than over swing and try and get an extra 15 yards out of something that flares left or right. i hit the HMB's but they felt thin to me, they were defiantly longer but not worth the feel and smunch of the ball. i would buy a single 7 iron and sub it in your bag for a while, such a different feeling, fiddle w/ shaft selection, it makes a big difference as well.
12 handicap. Gaming the T100 this year. Had JPX900 Tour for the past two years.
10-11ish cap (last 4 rds 82, 84, 81, 77).
Cobra Forged One's for me last 2 years.
Thanks for your insight.

Miss mine so bad. Bought them off the shelf though back in the day. Were too short and needed X100s instead of S300s. Live and learn.
PXG gen 1 0311 T. Switched from my previous Miura Baby Blade gamer because I had less time to get in practice and range time. Wanted something that was a bit more forgiving

I've worked my way right down to a 10 before everything shutdown, and I've been playing Mizuno HM Pros since September. Awesome irons with a great balance of feel and forgiveness.
I am thinking about making this jump. What adjustments did you make? is clubhead size the same? How is the turf interaction different? More distance with the MP20's?
11 handicap - Callaway Rogues.
About a 14-16 HCP if I actually kept up with it. Have played TaylorMade M CGB for several years (definitely Super Game improvement) but last few rounds experimenting with 2003 Ben Hogan Edge CFT which are cavity back, more in Game Improvement. Makes me really focus on my ball striking. What's next, Hogan blades??!!

I’m a 12 currently and have gone through several sets the past 5 years...AP2 714/716, i200, Honma TW X and Maltby DBM. I’ve just bought a set of PXG 0211 so I’m going to quit ho-ing and ride these out this entire season, or switch back to the DBMs.
I'm a 12. Played my first round of 2020 with some Srixon z765's in the bag, and in the bag they'll stay. Something finally displaced my John Letters MM Prototypes. Amazing scenes.
I'm a 13 handicap. I use Wishon 771 CSI. I was using Titleist 712 AP1s for a long time. I made the conversion to graphite shafts (Steelfibers) with the Wishons this year and I am very pleased.
I play a mixed combo set anymore wilson d200 4,5,6 v6 7-gw. All on nippon 1050s. Ive gotten to that age where distance is a diminishing return.
I am around a 10 index and I play Miura baby blades. PW-2i. I'd play and recommend them for any handicap. Best. Irons. Eva!!!
Wow. These are beautiful. How’s the distance with these? I’m sure the loft is not that strong.
Mizuno JPX 919 HMP 4-gw
Range between 13-15 but going the wrong way. Too much work, not enough play especially when trying to change swing. My selection:
PING g410 5-U, DG110s, blue dot
Callaway Apex CF19 5-A KBS $-taper s120 soft stepped 1x
Adams Pro Gold Forged 5-P Steelfiber i95s
I need to post for sale but I’ve been lazy:
PING g25 5-U DG XP s300
Callaway CF16 4-P Steelfiber 110
G25 were my gamers from release until last summer. G410’s took over the bag last summer as the result of a gift certificate from my wife.
CF19 couldn’t pass up the deal. They are trying to knock the g410’s out of the bag.
Adams purchased to try the shafts. Love the shafts. No reason to sell even though I don’t use often.
CF16 picked on a whim to try the shaft. Decent price At the time and I like the i95 so why not....... used a few times at the range, never took to the course. Just because you like a Steelfiber shaft does the mean you will like any Steelfiber shaft. Lesson learned. They are boxed up. At some point I’ll post them.
Right now I’m going between g410 and CF19. I like them both but I’m currently leaning towards CF19 even though I know g410 maybe a better choice on bad days.
They play even better than they look. Easily the easiest and most forgiving clubs I've ever played, and I've tried all kinds of clubs. At the same lofts (47* PW to 21* 3i) they are ~5 yards to a club longer than my mp67s, mp60s, and Retro TBs. But I have the lightest shafts in them too, which probably is the main reason for the distance gain. To me the distance and moreover the distance control is excellent with them.
Edit: I assume you were referring to my post about my baby blades with this reply.
