Got this beauty thanks to @Dion1970 Rolls the balls so good and feels amazing. After 2 hours on the practice putting green this morning it was MONEY!

Bought the L.A.B. MEZZ putter.  It feels great inside, but need to get it on the course.

gonna bead blast then decide how to finish.

 

Little shaping, sanding, blast it with walnut shells...starting to even out a bit.  Welder obviously didn't fill the hole all the way so will need that addressed.

Re-purchased a Tommy Armour EFT. Cast carbon steel with aluminum insert milled face. Believe these had the roll-face tech too. I always thought they were underated putters. $12.99 (+$12 ship). I painted on the Cameron Newport 2.6 Seemore dot myself

Grab a credit card (metal amex works nicely!) and it's easy to check for roll face.

It is roll face. Tommy Armour bought the patent for that period of putters they produced as I recall.

 

Is that essentially the SIK face technology, before SIK did it then???

Just picked up a Odyssey white og double wide. Really looking forward to it. Been gaming a Toulon Memphis currently but having trouble finding my stroke in the beginning of the season so looking for something with some higher MOI. However, still can't get myself to use a mallet.

The og double wide is on my list to roll, the triple wide tri hot as well. You think the double wide had more MOI than the Memphis??

Building a backup to my current. Couldn’t find a HB soft 4 but did find a minty classic 4. Gotta somehow get the sight line black without ruining the rest of the paint fill.

Use nail polish remover and a toothpick to get the white paintfill out, then use a black paint pen from an arts and crafts store to paint the sightline black. Use the nail polish remover to clean up any excess paint.  Easy job - I've done it a few times on putters.

I've been looking for one of these for a while.  Whenever I found one in a good condition it was more than I wanted to pay. But luckily I found this one. The alignment line paint was missing but I was able to clean that up easily.

 

I will play a few rounds with it before deciding if I want to add weight.

It's like a YES putter has a love affair with a Bobby Grace or SIK putter and we got this. It looks like a cast head with a milled face. 

 

It's on the lighter side probably 340g max maybe less, has a solid feel to it and good roll. I think I prefer the feel to a YES putter and roll as well. Definitely a cool little cheap pickup if you're bored. 

 

I had a teardrop years ago. Does that model still have the curved face like the originals? I remember Fred Couples using the curved face model.

Well they don't make them anymore but yes this has the curved face.

I'm really sorry, totally messed up my toulon putter shapes. The Memphis has more MOI than the double wide. I have the Madison, which has less MOI than the double wide. Thanks for checking my stats for me.
