Yesterday the app hade them at 27.99, now it’s back to 34.99. In store they were 27.99, not sure if that’s changed now too.

When I've seen them in store at the same time the 34.99 online price was listed, they've always been 27.99.

I didn't check this time around but in the past when they've been reduced online, the web page list the dates the the sale is active and the both the online and in-store prices are reduced by the same amount.  There have also been reports in this thread of them not displaying the sale price in-store but seeing the sale price on your receipt.

So what's the conclusion?

Essentially identical.  Any variation looked like normal human variation to my eyes.  <shrug>

I've played as many as fifty four holes with the Kirkland yellow and the only change was it lost a bit of the shiny finish and became a little dull looking.

Other than that it was as good as new.

The only reason I tossed it in the shag bag is that they're so cheap I can easily afford to and I prefer to start every round with a new ball.

Just wanted to see how far I could go for this three round stretch and the ball held up exceptionally well.

That's awesome results for you. I'm glad to see someone is getting some real miles out of them for durability.

I've always been a bit high on the swing speed and have been known to cut across balls and be overly steep. I also switch out wedges a good bit so the grooves can be extra fresh.

The only ball I can say I've confidently played multiple rounds with was the Tour BXs. Dirty? Yes. But no scuffs. No cuts. No dents or dings or chip in the cover. Very amazing.

Can you expand on these dreadful qualities you speak of?  My son plays them and the only thing I have noticed is that they spin a little less off the wedges for him.

The review said the balls are inconsistent in shape, compression etc. I bet most consumers of said Ksigs, wouldn't notice the differences. I love the new yellow color!

I would check the latest review on a site that shall not be mentioned. You are wasting money on dreadful quality balls.

Their narrative conclusions from their data are sometimes puzzling.

I used to think the data was good, but have seen a couple things that's made me think less positively about the data.

IMHO it's a "take with grain of salt" situation...

... Big E, I think their data is solid, but I am right there with you and "narrative conclusions" are more subjective than objective. And as always I find data to be a starting point. For instance in their big ball test they change the loft and flex of the driver to reflect what the "average player" uses. I have no idea where they get that average but I am 70 and in between "slow and medium" swing speeds. I don't use a Sr flex shaft with 12* of loft and a neutral AoA. So the info can give me a starting point with some numbers but using a 10.5* driver turned down 2 clicks and a regular flex Ventus Red Velocore and a +3* AoA my numbers are going to be very different in comparison.

... As @Tanner25 said most V3 players aren't going to notice some minor inconsistencies as their swings and contact will have much more to do with their results than a ball with a little higher or lower compression than stated. Otoh when the OG ball was released and almost universally loved, I played with a mini tour winner in Orlando that tested 2 boxes and found 4 balls that were different compressions and produced different spin rates and at his level, that can make a huge difference. Of course a Mini Tour winner is not a Costco target player.

... I find the V3 spins a little too much for my particular game needs but 3 of my 6 normal playing pards use the KSig  V2 and V3 and all of them gained a few yards because they needed more spin, especially off the tee. They were using a variety of balls when I met them and I talked them into using one ball. So not only does the V2/V3 work well for them, they absolutely love the price and no longer have to depend on balls they found or one hole with a Cally Supersoft and the next with a Srixon XV they found.

I get that, but I have also had Srixon Z Stars where you could see the seam in the ball.  They looked awful. Did I notice a difference in how it played, no. Most likely all ball manufacturers at some point have had production inconsistencies.

I haven't noticed a massive drop-off in quality with this latest batch, and will game them time from time (no one can't beat the price point).  I've switched to the MF Tour recently, as I like the feel a bit better, but not a knock against the KSig.

Driver: Callaway Paradym 10.5* with Hzrdus Smoke Blue RDX 60 Stiff

Putter:  Scotty Phantom X 5.5

MGS has a girl doing TikTok videos and she did one on the ksig v3 and said the ball would cost players 6-10 strokes per round. Hard to take them serious if that’s what their “data” shows. They sold out years ago, now they all seem to have a sense of arrogant entitlement for some reason and the winners always seem to align with their largest advertisers.

Just a new, internet version of the old Holf, Golf Digest, et al club tests.
