Most birdies you have made without breaking par?

Well I've never broken par, so:

 

3 birds+ 1 eagle= 73

5 birds (4 in a row)= 76

6 birds and two tripples. First time making that many birdies in a round but made some bonehead decisions that day.

6 seems to be a common one.  

 

I had 6 birdies twice.  Once with 6 birdies, 6 bogeys and 6 pars.  The second was 6 birdies and 3 doubles on the front nine, and then 9 straight pars on the back

I'm not as good as most, 2 birdies is my best, had like 10 chances including 2 or 3 eagle chances by driving par 4 greens. Had my worst putting round on the hardest and fastest greens ever, you know those clips where a dude taps the ball and it rolls 20 yards off the green? Yeah that was this every hole and that ended up being 42 putts.

I had 5 birdies before and shot +1, 71. Shot par on the front and +1 on the back. I was trading off birdies and bogeys for a stretch or I might have broken par for the first time.

probably 6 or 7 can't remember, but one time my friend made 10 birdies and shot +3.... 3 triples, 1 double, 2 bogies, 2 pars....was the most entertaining round of golf i've ever been a part of.

In the last couple of years, it has been 5 birdies without breaking par a few times.

Sounds like an experience I had in high school when I shot 50 - 29 for a smooth 79. For the sake of this thread, that's probably my max total w/out breaking par. 7 birdies in route to a 79 that I still remember nearly 20+ years later. FWIW, my score counted in the match and my team won (brutal cold and wind that day).

Haha, last night 3 in a row (which pretty much never happens to me, in fact I think I've only done it once before in my life) to start the back nine, then a double and a bogey later in the round dashed all hope, lol.  I started thinking about how I'd play the rest of the round to somehow finally break 70 for the first time and by the 16th hole I'd re-learned a valuable mental game lesson (after simply going mental).  What a dope. Decided not to play the front I was so mad at myself.

My 5 birdies all came in the first 6 holes. Went double, quad, triple to shoot 40, continued the shtt show until an eagle at 15 because why not. 25 years ago and I remember a lot of it also.

Almost 20 years ago, one of my last tournaments junior tournaments...shot even par 72 with 7 birdies, 2 triples, and a bogey. That round absolutely wrecked me. To make it worse, my dad and I overheard some parents chatting in the parking lot: "Did you hear about that kid that shot even with 7 birdies??"

MondayQinfo on Twitter (great follow by the way) just posted a card yesterday of someone who started with 6 birdies in a row, shot 31 on the front and then 44 on the back for a smooth 75. Ouch!

I know it doesn't quite fit with the thread but the other week I played 9 holes with 5 birdies and only shot -1.

 

As far as 18 hole rounds that were the weirdest in this regard, I had a round with 5 or 6 birdies and still shot an 80 or 81. My game is weird

5 and 74. It's so dang hard to make 18 pars or better. Always a hole or two that throws a wrench in the score. Consistency is so underrated.
