Most birdies you have made without breaking par?

A million years ago when I was good at this game ... 6 birdies and an eagle, -8 through 12, shot 73, played the last 6 in +9.

4 or 5 years ago I went to Orlando with my wife, she was on a work trip, I played all the Disney courses.  At Palm I made 4 birdies (most birdies I have ever had in one round), and I still shot in the 90s.

Few weeks ago had 4 birdies and through some tough mistakes ended up with an 82 (+10)

Pretty much the opposite- I recently broke par for the first time with just 1 birdie to go with 17 pars

I never broke par, but made level par exactly one time. This was at a par 70, made 6 birdies, 2 bogeys and a quadruple. Hit two tee shots OOB and made par on my third ball. Didn't get any strokes on that hole, so for handicap purposes it was a 2 under round. I was a 7 hcp at the time.

I have a vague memory of having made 5 birdies once when I'd only been playing golf a few years. If I'm recalling that correctly it was so long ago I'd never broken 90 so I probably shot something like a 91 or 93. It was on an unfamiliar course while on vacation and all I remember was I kept chipping in and making long putts from the fringe. Just a freakish thing. 

 

I've made 4 birdies in a round several times over the years including my personal best round of three over par. 

 

I was paired up with a really good player once and he made several birdies during the round. Afterward I asked him how many birdies he'd made in his best round ever. He thought a minute and said, "I think it was eight birdies". Pause. "And the two eagles". 

 

I was kind of sorry I asked. I'm still overjoyed if I make eight birdies in the same month.

Made 5 the other day and finished with a 71 even Par. 

 

One bad bogey three putt in the round that killed it. Never broke par before, been close but never through 18.

Last month in back to back weeks I had 6 birdies followed by 5 the next week.  Shot 74/78.  Just can't help myself.

6 maybe even 7 IIRC and shot 76 (+4). Followed most birdies up by bogey the next hole. Think I had like 2 or 3 pars the whole round. Stupid game...

45 (+9) on the front and Birdied every hole on the back 9!lol! Pretty well sums up my game to a T! My buddy said just another standard round for you. Not the first time I have caught fire after a horrible front 9 and a swing so bad I was ready to walk off the course.

Lifelong 200-yard drives got me one birdie every three rounds, but one glorious day back in 2010 I had a round with four birdies and overcame major nerves to break par by a stroke. A month of goofy afterglow, then a decade-long drought. 

 

Last week I birdied holes 2, 5, 6 and 7 and made the turn at one under par; my group started acting like it was Sunday at The Masters and I felt special. I bogied the 10th but birdied 15 and made a 12-foot par putt on the demanding 16th to remain one under. It was 2010 all over again!

 

Hole 17 is short, an easy par 4 if you avoid the stream down the left side which should never come into play; that stupid stream is really more a decoration than a challenge, only takes 100 yards to clear it unless you hook your tee shot, which I never do.

 

Took a quadruple bogie eight, then another quad on the final hole to ruin any recap...

"How'd you hit 'em?"  "5 birdies"

"What'd you score?"  "7 over"

Twice this year I've had 5 birdies in a round and failed to break par. I had a +1 73 and a +3 75 in those two rounds.

I'm a quintessential volatile player. In the last couple weeks two rounds pop out

 

1.) 5 birdies, shot +6 overall

 

2.) 4 birdies and an eagle, shot even

 

If you were to fully qualify my name it would probably be roo "hazards off the tee and three putts" ski. Making awesome progress though, that even par round was yesterday and it was my first time shooting even and my first round without a double

My lowest round ever, was a 65 which included 8 birdies. I think if I’d shot even par, I would have needed psychiatric help.

I think 6 is the most I've put up in a round and not only not finish under par, but not shoot even.
