Interesting note on SW, I asked the on-line invisible man if I could order the driver with one extra weight to accommodate the shorter length and the internet told me NO. I asked if my retailer could order a spare weight and the internet told me NO. Lead tape or hotmelt only opinion for now...BB

That sounds about right for TM. There has been weights available for prior generations heads so I will just wait for them to be released. I only need about 6 more grams of weight to get the SW I want.

 

 

I'm pretty sure they told us a weight kit would be available sometime after the release of the drivers.

 

That would be great but I would wager for the M3 only?

 

The Old Stage 2/SLDR Fairway/Hybrid /Jetspeed Weight fit the new m4 perfectly. TONS and I mean TONS of options out there for the M4's.

Yeah, this has been the case with the M2/M4 for several generations. The "16 and '17 just used a different ring/housing, but the weights were interchangeable.

I have both the M3 and M4 and the M4 was the winner for me and it was not even close. I was coming from a 17 M1 and was very surprised the M4 won.

Thanks bud ....the 2015 staffer I believe....the neon green was 17, the 16 was black ......I had the sldr staffer prior to this....big but I just like'em!

After using a 16' M2 and a 17' M2 for the last 2 years I ordered an M3 after hitting my buddies. I had no plans of buying, or even testing a new driver this year but the club is that good imo.

 

Took it right to the course after screwing it into my shaft and after a brief warmup on the range I proceeded to pound 4 drives like it's ben in teh bag forever. No weight adjustment, put it in neutral lie/loft. The sound and feel is outstanding. Head weighed 197g w/out the adapter.

 

It just swings easier for some reason. My M2 is good, really good, but this just seems to feel better through the hitting zone (the way it swings). It's def. spinning less than my M2 and it wants to go straight. It's harder to curve but I could still do it. I hit one toe ball that I expected to hook but it actually straightened out and put me dead center of the fairway so in that regard the twist face seemed to do ok there but I really didn't notice it otherwise.

 

The 460 looks smaller at address which I liked. Really impressed with this driver.

Someone give me a comparison between between the M2 tour / m4 tour and the regular m4

 

I cracked the face on my M2 tour HL and sounds like i will be getting the M4 in replacement. Expecting the regular M4 as the tour does not come In the 16.5 loft.

 

Any one have a good comparison?

 

I had them all side by skde and it looks like the m4 tour sits way more closed then the other 2?

 

The m4 actually looked like it saw the squarest down by the ball to me

Got to hit it for the first time today finally...

Coming from the Accra tour z xtreme which this is built off it has a really nice kick at implact but still remains stable and low spin have never hit a shaft like it. Played the Kuro kage xt before and have seen a 3-4 mph jump in ball speed.

What was the spin number on the M3? Had to be like 5000ish for that carry with 198 ball speed, right?

 

Curious why you didn't pop your shaft from the '16 M1 into the M3 and M4.

 

It didn’t pick up spin but the temp was also about 35* with a slight breeze quartering into and the TM was not normalized. Also the clubs were demos and they don’t like when you start unscrewing their heads and swapping out shafts not to mention I am anal and superstitious with my driver in that I dont take it apart once i get in a groove with it.

* I have hit the M3 and M4 with my shaft in them and between the 2, M3 gave me better numbers and lower spin but the head weight of the M3 was way off in comparison to my M1 so it never felt right. M3 also launched about 1.5* higher on average than my M1 on the same setting. Without going through a whole fitting I think I could switch to M3 or G400 LsT and be comfortable with my current shaft

 

Head weight feeling off. Do you mean light ? Curious because this is what I found.
