My m5 last year had more distance on a pured strike but the Cobra gets incredible ball speed on poor strikes and I'd bet my average distance has gone up. I've owned almost everything but I am very happy with my Cobra although I'd be happy to go back to m5 as well. The twist face on the m5 was unpredictable from my high toe strikes that I like to try to play to hit bomb draws.

Playing a 917 D3 with Rogue MAX 65X, think its currently on the B1 setting so 1 degree upright, 9.5 degree.

Took me a while to get it dialled in, but was getting some awesome results before lockdown. I had even figured out how to hit a draw when I wanted it, which has only taken me 30 years to figure out.

Thought about picking up a TS4 head to try, but facing the next few months working from home I spent the cash on a computer chair instead.

Yes I did. I bought it at the 295 price. $125 upgrade for the Pro Orange. $420 all in. Bought the 3 and 19* hybrid also.
XF was VERY consistent for me. Only 6 yards dispersion on carry yardage from best to worst. Ballspeeds were 3-4 mph faster for me with the 0811x head. The XF actually had a lower average spin in my testing, but a higher launch with same shaft. I was already launching the 0811x at 14-15* with spin at 2400 and ball speed at 163. The XF averaged 158.9 ball speed, with my best being 161 but launch was 16* and spin at 2250. I felt like the adjustable weighting in the 0811x head was a winner for me, both had solid dispersion left to right. Being able to fine tune the 0811x head for the ball I decide to play was the final factor. The weights in front, vs neutral gave me 2200 spin, 14* launch with a ProV1X ball. Swap that for a TP5X or Tour B X and I’m “maximizing” my numbers on a launch monitor. Only hit it for 27 holes so far, but I have flushed several and the ball flight is so different its unreal. I’m sure there are some longer combos on the best of the best swings with Mavrik, Sim, G410 regarding ball speed, but PXG has ball speed and spin consistency across the face thats unreal coming from a Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero driver/fairway/super hybrid set up.

Mavrik Max with Ventus Black, currently a 5.3. This combo has helped me keep it in play and my carry distance has improved. The combo of low/low shaft with a high launch super forgiving head has been money.

TaylorMade Burner Superfast 2.0 TP (tour issue LCG version) with a UST Axivcore Tour Red 79 TX. Not sure whether or not it's tipped any, but plays around 45".

Truth be told, I stumbled upon it via an eBay listing scant on detail, but it's been an excellent return on an investment of just over $50.

SIM 9 degree turned down 1 notch to 8.25 degree, weight slightly towards draw setting. Shaft is Fujikura Ventus Blue 6X with velocore. I'm sold on the driver head, not 100% confident in the shaft yet. I'm going to try my Tensei Pro White 60 TX in it when golf comes back, as that is what I played in my M5 which was a fairway finding MACHINE before I traded it in.
