What I've learned so far:

-Shorts on PGA players are perfectly acceptable tournament attire.

-I like the pace of play with no caddies and lasers in the players bag.

-I like players reading their own putts without caddie input.

-I've missed live sports even more than I realized. I am actually enjoying this despite the problematic production value.

Caddies don't slow the game down....not sure where you get that idea from.

Nothing else on tv so I'll take it for what it is....some golf, for a good cause. Couple things are becoming clear to me personally: Pros wearing shirts...no biggie. Range Finders, time to move into the technology age? Point and shoot, yardage voila. Not wasting time waiting on caddies pacing yardages. Pace is what it should be. Not sure I like watching Wollf's swing lol.

I've just started watching, two holes so far, but sped through the last few pages. This really is a crappy production, have to give some slack given the limitations. It's like the players are forcing conversation. Odd to consider that it'd come out so, well, boring.

Cadies definitely have an impact on pace of play. Finding yardages, talking things out with their players (maybe too much sometimes), helping player read putts . May not be the biggest factor but it doesn't help.

What I've learned so far is PGA players don't have the personality or swag to make being mic'd up entertaining. Im def happy to be watching live golf again but geez is this ever a snooze fest.

Some players are too indecisive but its all about how important the moment is in determining their decision. Some players preshot routines are too long, same on the greens.

Nothing to do with caddies.

What you're watching is nothing more than a casual round of golf, with money that isn't theirs. Change the scenario to an actual event with real money to be played for their own benefit and you'll see its like any other event.

It's always nice to see these guys swing, plus pro tracer makes it better.

I would consider paying ~$10-20 for a premium version where we got no commentators and no commercials. Just on course noise and players mic'd up.

It'll be interesting to watch Matt Wolff's career and see if he retains the movement he currently uses. I would think it takes an immense amount of perfect timing to execute consistently. Will normal lapses in every golfers timing cause his misses to be larger due to the extra movement?
