Dispersion was great on the 7's and distance was close to the 5's even though he said he wasn't flushing the 7's.

Had a look at these today, and the drivers. They look nice. The ZX5 driver looks to be anti-fade, and the ZX7 more neutral. Not a lot of adjustment, but some weight changes possible. The V-sole on the ZX7s seems more pronounced, and they have a lot of weight down low, so they should be easy to launch. Reminded me a little of the late Cleveland 588 irons in that respect.

Overall, I really liked the look of the ZX7 driver and hybrid.

any reviews or commentary vs u65/85?

appreciated

No personal experience, but Michael Newton posted his review of the ZX Utility today. Though it's a 4i and not his preferred shaft, it's a very positive review. He mentions he's played the previous Srixon U's too.

Anyone know how long the 785/585 irons would typically be available once these are out? Was looking at grabbing a combo set next Spring but I’m assuming they won’t be around by then.

It will depend on whether stores have stock they haven't sold. Golftown (in Canada) usually has some older stuff in stock that didn't move once the new sets come out but it's hit and miss.

I have. I have seen everything except the blade that is supposed to come out a little after the rest. There is even a hollow body zx4 high handicap iron. Circa the launcher hb irons but with a bit more tech and class to them.

I do like them. A lot. I turned my nose a bit at the  first images that appeared but once I saw them in hand i was very impressed..

Hi, how would you describe the utility iron size wise compared to the 565 iron head , thanks I’m thinking about blending them get 3,4 utility and 5-wedge in zx5 , I play the 585 and I need more forgiveness in the 4 and possibly 5 irons

slightly bigger and thicker. Obviously larger sole, but will blend well.

It seems that due to Covid, they won’t ship to the US. Still wondering when US release will be. My grooves are becoming quite worn and these are on the top of my list to test.

UK looks like Sep. 26 - https://www.srixon.co.uk/en/clubs/golf-clubs/irons/zx5-irons/MZX5-EA-UK.html

Does anyone know why US release is pushed further back vs other countries? I can understand Australia since it's Spring there and golf season just started, right? But I thought UK and Europe have similar seasons to the US.

Also posted this in the driver thread.

Any info on head size of the ZX hybrids vs the H85 hybrids? The new ones are described as ‘smaller head shape, compact profile’ while the old as ‘larger more forgiving’. Looking at separate pics, head shape and proportion looks very similar to my eye. Any side by side pics or hands on info?

I haven’t seen anything on this line recently. I would’ve thought that the release date in Europe would produce a look at the shaft selection, etc. Still waiting to see anything on The ZX 4’s as well. I don’t want to buy a ZU for a 5 iron.

Sadly there is no ZU 5 irons this time around 😉

I saw the ZX5 and ZX7 in our local sports shop last week, I think it was 5-PW (might have been 4-PW). The 7's look lovely but not as lovely as the current price. In Thai baht it was 29,700, $940 or £730. As a comparison the TM P770's are 42,000 Baht, $1327 or £1033. These are introductory prices, normally for the first month they have been released.

I am on the fence about replacing my 2016 Forged Tec with a set of ZX7.

Titleist U510 3 iron.
Mizuno JPX 921 Forged 5 - PW.

Scotty Cameron Futura X5.
