Im not saying it in a braggy way lol im just saying... some other brand blades are more unfriendly in forgiveness and feel... i have mp5s and they seem very forgiving.. also hit the mp20 and seemed ok.

Joshella, i agree with your reasoning for not having a very similar SC model in the MP-20 range.  However, my point is old school and blades should be blades, played by the few, low handicap players and look similar to Tiger’s TM P7TW. Mizuno, trim down the MB and bring back the SC PLEASE!  Mizuno has to eat and the MMC seems to be a popular mid handicap iron so understandably the SC might be a phenomenon.  
 

Regardless, I just want to keep Mizuno’s in the bag but at the risk of getting obliterated here, I’m also drawn to the TM - P7MB and/or P7MC.

I wonder if this was a business decision (re-thinking their release calendar) or if it was a design decision (re-thinking the upcoming MP lineup)?

Or possibly a supply issue it’s probably not a good idea to release new lines knowing you won’t be able to fulfill orders in a timely manner.

Great point.  I'm looking forward to hearing what Mizuno has to say about delaying the releases, and seeing if other companies push back fall releases as well.

From my sources, the conversation about delaying the new MP release started about 8 weeks ago which is right in your ballpark of April. From what I’ve gathered Mizuno realized the supply chain is so brutally backed up it made no sense to introduce a new line up and have no way of ensuring they could fulfill stock orders let alone fulfill custom orders. I think you’ll see most OEM’s push back releases for the same reason.

I spoke to a retailer a couple of days ago and they said Mizuno launch is in September.

A retailer? Meh. They’re pretty far down the food chain when it comes to up to date info.

what is the specific supply chain issue?, (grips, shafts, club heads) or is it all of them, I was told by our Golf galaxy in Nashville that it is all about some cargo ship that sunk that had millions of Golf Pride grips on it.  I am not sure the accuracy of that.  Another said it has to do to a shortage of shipping containers and that airfreight is too expensive. Has anyone heard any real specifics?

Why so little love for the MMC’s? Aren’t they virtually the same design as the popular Titleist T100’s? Seems to me they are a good fit between the MB’s and the HMB’s.

There is a shortage of shipping containers world wide. Other factors are increased demand, factories that were shut down during the pandemic now trying to catch up. A shortage of semiconductors means adding new factories or new lines is delayed. Add in the US-China trade issues. Other issues like a shortage of truck drivers resulting in back up at ports. Kind of a case of everything going wrong at the same time.
