I disagree...a full 60-degree that clears the bunker should get close or spin back. These are pros ladies and gentlemen, I expect a bit more from them...

Kinda rough watching Bubba fall apart today.

 

As a right handed golfer, I sometimes hit a weak shot out to the right and it's really frustrating because I can't always figure out why it happened. This was Bubba's tournament to win and he just totally lost it.

 

I feel equally bad for his caddy who's in a position to deal with something like this and basically fix it, but I guess he just didn't know how to deal with it. I suppose Bubba is probably a difficult person to deal with in a situation like this though.

Was really pulling for Brice Garnett. No W this time, but hopefully a top 10 will bring him back in the top 125

20+ holes (so pretty gassed) with a bunker short and downwind, it’s tough to land one close

I feel like for some reason Bubba lost his aggressiveness on the back nine.  He started playing tight like he was in a U.S. Open.  When he was laying up on the par-5 I sensed something was off and the wheels just came off after that point.

Same here.  I kept telling me wife "We will start dinner here in a few minutes...." and then that few minutes turned into 2 hours.

Haha, I came home from 18 and grilled burgers for us around 1 pm - sat on the deck, relaxed a bit, started watching senior golf, then the Tour, then took off when the playoff started to play more!  Only got in 6 holes because rain was moving in, went home and . . . . they were still playing!

That was fantastic golf and a joy to watch. I enjoyed the back and forth between the two. 
 

Rather than be disappointed that neither were making birdies, I was in awe that neither had blown up and made bogey. 
 

They each had nerves of steel over those putts. Each time English lined up over a 6-7’ putt, I was positive his resolve was worn out. Each time he stepped up, especially at the end.

My luck with recording Sunday golf has been a disaster this month. It started with me recording the Memorial and only adding 30 minutes to the end time. Not enough time to see Cantlay  win that one. On the same day I recorded the US Women's Open. Started watching and saw Lexi let it slip away and saw one hole of the playoff before the  30 minutes I added blew by and I missed the  winner. Well I got smart  today and added one hour to the telecast and I was still at least an hour too short! Dang! I went to the PGA website and was surprised that it had gone to 8 holes. Next Sunday I believe I'll add 3 hours to it to be on the safe side........Great win for English.

I started out rooting for Cosmo but after a while changed to Harry. CBS and the fans got to me. Harry became the underdog after the second playoff hole. Felt bad for him.
