Haha…yup!! I’ve almost pulled the trigger on like 3-4 used iron sets when I have absolutely no need for another set of irons…we definitely have a sickness! 🤣

OK, so i have a VERY exciting temporary update. The virtual golf/trackman place i go to was allowed to remain open for the time being (this will change any day now). Apparently since they promised not to serve food or beverages they can be classified as a sport and not as a restaurant adjacent activity

 

So....MtlJeff got to play a virtual round this morning with a friend of mine (can only play 2 at a time due to 50% capacity restrictions).

 

They also made me throw out my Tim Hortons coffee when i got there. They apparently take this "no food" stuff very seriously

 

Anyway, no numbers because i was with a friend of mine so we played a virtual round--But i shot -1 from the tips at Cabo Del Sol baby! Had to hit 2 different blade 4 irons into greens and drilled both of them--One was for a gimme eagle to 5 feet.

 

Also, i got a comment on the PXGs from someone else there. My guess is he thought i was some rich snob---Which is exactly how i hoped this would play out! (throughout the round i kept complaining about my mercedes and yelling into my phone about stocks just to ham it up)

 

Note- I do not own a Mercedes or actively trade.

No this is first time using them. I don't believe they would work for me with my G410 or TECs , they are mid /high launch for sure. But for blades they work well since I need the launch help

Not scientifically, but the 0211st felt better to me than the zx7

What about playability?  Not wanting to go to something less forgiving if I can avoid it.

The 0211 ST is a small clubhead. I've read some people say that it's not super small for a blade, and i've said in this thread that it's easier then expected to hit

 

But make no mistake it's a small club. My forged TEC (a midsize club) looks gigantic next to it.

 

I haven't hit the ZX7 in about a year but if i recall they were similar in size to my 2016 Apex Pros, maybe even a tad smaller. Maybe between like those and something like a T100.

 

The 0211 ST are still an actual blade at the end of the day. If looking down at a very thin 4 and 5 iron is not something you're comfortable with i wouldn't do it

Man, I keep checking this thread and after reading it immediately go to eBay where a set of 0211’s in my exact specs are sitting there waiting for me to buy them.    Not of fan of the PXG marketing but the 0211’s just look so good, like a classic blade with the thinner sole.

My regular course here in Wyoming has a herd of 40-50 pronghorn antelope lounging around all day.  Most don't move unless you get within 15 feet of them.  And the holes that don't feature antelope dung have some very territorial geese.  My dog has dreams of going golfing with me!
