If your answer isn't "putter", you spent too much money on your driver. 😆

And your putter is nothing more than a tricked-out Anser.  That's like buying a Honda Accord and dumping thousands of dollars on custom wheels.  Sure, it might look cooler, but it's still a Honda Accord.

There's no need to insult people and get cranky because your opinion on the importance of certain clubs differ. Putters much like drivers, when struck in the center, perform very very similar regardless of technology.

You feel good about your expensive driver that is identical to a million others made just like it, and I will feel good about my putter that is one of a kind and made by a guys hands.

I wasn't cranky and I'm sorry if my (appropriate) analogy struck a cord.  The tech in new drivers isn't intended to maximize performance on perfect strikes.

And my driver is no longer "expensive",  I'm still gaming a 2016 M1.  Spend your money how you see fit; you're the one that worked for it.  Just make sure you get the custom spoiler for your Accord so that it's also one-of-a-kind 😝

Probably the most expensive club in my stash is probably my recreation of a TaylorMade R1 Black Super TP Driver with a real deal OBAN Kiyoshi White shaft.  I probably paid $100 CDN to piece meal it together from different sources.

2022 Scotty Cameron X 7.  Stock, full retail @ $430, off the shelf.

Clearly nothing special or crazy expensive, but I have always bought used or previous years' models at a steep discount. Always wanted a Scotty with a milled stainless face, but never crazy about the head shape selection until this one. Used Scotty's, especially new models, don't sell for much less than retail so not worth searching for a bargain in this case. No regrets.

I love a good pissing match, getting in before the Circle T's guys drop in.

This was a birthday/Christmas gift to myself so didn't mind the price especially for the end result. My Cody James Patriot putter, which was about $1250, not including a few other things like grip, shipping, duty/taxes and I may toss in an upgraded graphite shaft at some point.

Second most expensive was my recent driver purchase, Cobra LTDxLS with Mitsubish C6 Onyx at $775 but I hopefully don't need to change drivers for at least 4 years.

I would have to say my putter. It’s Certainly worth considerably more now than what I paid for it when new.

I've never met someone whose putting improved by spending $1,200 for one.  All specs being equal, there's absolutely nothing in a $3,000 GSS Circle T that makes it roll the ball any better than an old Ping Anser.
