@dbornack Everything I've been reading on the 1K Black is that it's pretty stout. Your swing speed suggests it might work out, but prob depends on your tempo, as in if smoother it might not be what you like. People I've talked to on the TSr3 say as long as your off-center hits are consistent you can just adjust that sweet spot track towards the toe. I'll probably go TSr3 for the lower launch/spin, but def going to try testing the TSr2 as well.

That's exactly what I found.  It was a bit stout and lacked any feel... Made me flip a little at the bottom and increased spin.  Went with the 6.5 hzrdus black instead.  Tsr2 has been great with my toe side miss.  I preferred it over the 3... Which is unusual for me, I've always played the 3.

What I have found on the TSR2 is that it is very forgiving, looks great and feels great.  For sure, it is not draw biased.

If you hit dead center on the TSR3 it will give you about 7 to 10 more yards than the TSR2 but if you are a normal ball striker and miss the center as often as I do the TSR2 will more than likely be longer if you average out all your drives for 18 holes.

Using this logic, would TSR4 add a few yards over the 3?

Anyone have issues with the faces for the fairway woods yet? My TSi2 cracked again after barely over a year and the finish on the face and sole were somewhat worn out as has been the case for the past couple of iterations on their fairway woods.

Hey fellas. Lots of pages here. I just traded for a TSR4. First Titleist driver as well. It came with the 65x 1K Black. This last season I played the TPO 70TX 1K and Accra 472 M5+RPG in a 425LST.

In the only Trackman session I've had with it so far, I missed left of left a lot, like every other third.  Does anyone know if the TSR4 is draw biased, or at least compared to my LST? I lofted down to 8.25 and went to C1 to try to help.

Additionally, the 1k Black feels more stout to me than the RPG and I'm wondering if I'm compensating for it somehow? I'd love to figure it out because I love the head size and it is definitely faster than my LST.

I'd be really surprised if the TSR4 was draw biased at all since the smaller, lower MOI/spinning heads are almost always neutral or slightly fade biased for the player that tends to prefer those types of heads. Where on the face were you striking it generally?

The PING stuff however is very often fade biased, especially the LST heads. They are also higher MOI than most other designs as well so if you're someone that misses in the toe a little bit (and maybe had the weight moved to that side as well) then the PING would be giving you a lot of protection from that toe hook tendency that the Titleist would not.

The 1K Black and Accra RPG are also on complete opposite ends of the bend profile spectrum as well so that could certainly be playing a factor in how you're feeling and releasing the club. The 1K shafts are all quite linear whereas the RPGs have massively stiff handle sections and big hinges in the middle. They are still strong shafts because that middle hinge is only a hinge in relation to how stiff the handle is, but if you can load the RPG then the feel would be completely different than the 1K Black.

My miss with the LST is toe side, though not drastically. Have the weight in the neutral setting with 3g lead tape on the toe.

Strikes on the TSR4 were pretty centered. 1.48 - 1.51. I'm going in tomorrow to hit both head to head with the RPG and compare apples to apples.

I'm glad you mentioned that about the shafts. The 1k Black definitely feels linear, more so than the TPO 1k, and even more so than the RPG. The 1k Black brought my launch angle down more than a degree from the RPG and I was getting the long flat drives that I've been searching for. I'd love for the 1K Black to work, otherwise it seems like I need something that feels closer to the RPG but can bring my flight down a tad and flatten my apex like the 1k Black.

Anyone have the unicorn shaft of a really stiff butt, big hinge and stiff/really stiff tip that's not the RPG?

TSR2 10 driver has to be the most BORING driver ever........I mean seriously......WASH , RINSE, REPEAT!!! I'm at the point where as long as I'm not trying anything unusual,  I'm in play...... just aim and fire .... no weird high spinny shots or nose diving ducks .

TSR2......there is no substitute.....well for me!!

Demoed the 2 and 3 the other day with a Ventus Black 6s.  I really wanted to go with the 3 but after hitting the 2, it seems clear it is the better option for me with that shaft.  It was longer, faster, and easier to control.  Driver is killing me lately so I am anxious to find ANY answer to my woes.  This could be the one.

Swapped out a TSI2 fairway for a TSR3 and I'm liking the change so far. The high spinny right shot has been eliminated. Much better flight and the feel is more muted/solid which I prefer. The TSR3 is still pretty easy to launch but it doesn't hold the greens as well as the TSI2 because of the lower launch/spin. I think it's a pretty fair trade though.

Just to add to this...fitter told me he's found lots of people inconsistent with the Stealth driver, but the fairway woods are money. Never got to test the TSR fairways. Anyone compare the Stealth fw's vs TSR fw's?

Tsr are higher spin and slower by 3-4 mph compared to the +. Not sure about the reg stealth fwy...only hit it a couple of times and didn't care for it.

Sounds like you’re saying this as a fact for all golfers and not for yourself. If so, where are you getting that info? Without testing for myself, if this is generally true, would obv want the Stealth+ then.

I have tsr3 8 with the KBS TD driver shaft @ 45.5”.

Just returned from Maui. Hit a handful of 400 yard drives at kapalua including one of the 7th hole that ended up down on the collar of the green. It’s a 500 yard plus hole. Lmao. The day before I was playing with a member and he thought the hole might be drive-able if you hit it just right down the slope.

Point of the post is this: I can’t play some other driver after hitting so many slope aided bombs this past week… no chance.  So now I don’t have to worry about buying any new drivers for a while 😅. Problem solved.
