How has no one mentioned 2016 m2?

Trying not to be that guy, but it's literally in the op.

As a TaylorMade guy, I could probably put all 3 of the ones I've owned in the list lol. Sentimental favorite would be the r7 superquad as it's the first driver I was fit into. Then the r1, while not the prettiest (and mine was Beat Up when I got it) I hit some bombs (for me) with it, but it could get a little squirrelly. Now I have the SIM MAX D and while I haven't hit my longest drive ever with it, it's statistically longer than the r11s because the misses generally aren't as bad, I'm really considering getting the lower lofted head to try and chase some distance, but it would probably be a superfluous purchase.

Edit- just found out what I thought was an r11s is actually an r1.

all anti left, all hit absolute NUKES

Yes and yes, these 3 are all fantastic, currently playing SIM and am seeing places only the SLDR put me, just now seeing them much more regularly

Best is so hard because I feel most choices would have been "best" during that era.  The TM 300 for example wouldn't hold a candle to more modern choices, etc.

That being said, if someone came in with a properly fitted Burner Superfast TP driver, it wasn't getting beat by much of anything.

I have a R7 Draw 10.5 driver. Last year I bought a M2 5-wood and absolutely love it. Question. If a M2 10.5 driver and my R7 driver were both robot tested, would the M2 be longer? If yes, by how much?

I have seen some video comparisons, and it seems that they are not that much longer maybe 10 yards. The big difference is in the misses, they go way farther and straighter

I still think the SLDR is the best sounding driver they have ever made. It still makes me shudder thinking about some of the misses it produced though.

Sim 2 gets my vote, best looking club I have ever owned.

I’ve hit ‘em all since Gary’s first in ‘79.  They had a great run and seemed to be ahead of the competition (except Big Bertha) performance wise until the COR rules kicked in.
I always liked the next one so can’t say 300 was better than 540xd or 425 super quad tp (holy grail) Burner TP (snedeker)

I could keep going.

M2 is a backup now

SLDR 430 is a keeper

Original RBZ was a good one for me.  Matrix Rul shaft

M5 was next for me, Speeder 6.1

Sim Max, Ventus Blue TR

Tried the stealth (non plus) and it gave me no appreciable difference to the Sim Max.

Best? Probably Stealth+ in terms of performance

Older School: 510 TP, with the ion plated Speeder 757, the classic TP logo, the "Look what I've got!" headcover
Middler School: R9 Super Tri, amazing combo of length, playability, ease of use. Rounder, more conventional shaping than the Burner heads of that time.
Newer School: '16 M2, need say nothing more

1. R510TP

2. SLDR 430

The '16 M2 is/was a fantastic head but never quite surpassed my SLDR 430.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.
