Greatest Drivers of The Past Decade?

Original SIM is about the only driver that nearly pulled me away from Titleist, but the TSi3 is the best driver I've ever played. Rogue ST Triple Diamond is up there too.

So few pwople know about the forgiveness of the 16 callaway big bertha fusion.... that head is soooooo easy to hit straight... i still game it, lofted down to 8°... straight shots every time, even toe or heel strikes... hit one last week, half the ball mark was off the toe, faded about 10 yds right and lost about 25 yds carry over a center hit...

My PXG, not sure of what model, had it two season with hzrds shaft. It is by far the best driver for me in the last ten years, I have probably tried 6 or 7.   The second place was the Ping Ansr driver, but might not be last ten years.

Driver: Wilson Whale

3 wd: Nickent 4DX

5 wd: Adams Faldo Series

7 wd: Warrior Tomahawk

9 wd:  Mastergrip OSC

11 wd: Goldwin 11

The little known Srixon Z745. Heard it was good, so I put it in the bag. It is good. Very good.

My Bertha Fusion = 13.5* lofted down to 12.5* to open the face angle. Has a lot of the tech that eventually went into the Paradym wrt the amount of carbon/ graphite sole & crown?

Ive heard that the Bertha BB21 = similarly forgiving.

+1 on the G400 Max.  It's an unbelievable driver.  I tried the G425 (quickly sold on as I hated the sound) and also own a G410 plus, but the G400 Max edges it for both forgiveness and length.  I honestly can't foresee buying another driver for another few years / until my G400 Max is worn out.

SLDR 430 (2013): I've never hit the ball as far (before or since) but just couldn't completely control it enough to make it the mainstay in the bag.

M2 (2016): Played it for 4 years until the face cracked and could never get another one that was quite the same.

PING G400 (2017): Best Driver (along with R7) ever offered to the "masses".

Titleist TSR (2022): The best combination of speed and accuracy I've ever bagged in over 40 years in golf.

The answer to better golf is work your butt off and learn how to hit it better, farther, and make more putts.

Its the Ping G400 for me. Although I finally replaced it with the G430 Max the G400 remains on property for nostalgic future "back in the day kids" hitting.

I asked my son this question the other day, figured he would say his Titleist 910 or something being a life long Titleist guy, nope, it's his G400 Max.

GOAT.

TSR3

I haven't found anything that so perfectly combines the class of drivers we once had with stuff like the 910 and 420cc VR Tour with modern features, adjustability and launch optimization. It's ridiculous.

Surprised to not see the Cobra King LTD listed.  Might be the first of the low CG drivers.  And, per a TXG test, it still holds up well

Love my Rougue St Max D. I've had a few very good drivers over the past 7 years (XR16, M4, Sim Max), but the Rougue has been the longest, most forgiving driver I've ever had and has changed my weak fade to a  nice draw (most of the time 🙃). I haven't bought a club since then - that's saying something!

That kinda talk will get you banned around here

Agreed. I've had this M2 in the bag for years, and I went to get fit for a new driver last year, and nothing beat it out. Changed shafts but kept in the M2. Thing is legit

Is it pretty beat up at this point or not bad? The white topline on mine used to take a beating

Might be pushing the time line, but I still look fondly back at the Adam’s Fast 12 LS and Launch lab. SLDR 430, Epic, and the OG Sim are the other standouts for me.

I was very happy with my m3 until it broke. Couldn’t settle after that until I got my tsr2. Can’t see this leaving the bag for a long time, long and forgiving as hell for me. My driving has gone from a weakness to a strength.
