What are they like?

 

Played them today...The ball flight on full shots was actually a touch lower than the previous generation, but the spin was great. I had no problem at all getting the ball to check up. The sole of the club seems to work better on flop shots.

From the back, you're impressed with a shape and curves and then you cringe and vomit in your mouth when they turn around and see that you've been staring at a dude.

First few were good. It’s a little

Louder than I’m used to and a low launch, low spin shaft was a surprise during the fitting, but the number were the best, the TS2 with evenflow white was a close 2nd. No rounds yet on it

Not a purchase, picked up for free at a local mom and pop driving range. Don't know much about this club, feels like crap, probably a cheap model in its day...but it was free. They were giving away a bunch of old stuff.

Bought this with the Smoke 60g 6.5 flex. May swap the shaft out for a Tensei Pro White that I also tested. The distances were pretty much the same but the dispersion was better with Tensei. I’ll test again if the same thing happens I’ll spring for the upcharge.

Love it so far haven’t got on the course yet but on GCQuad was hitting little baby cuts about 196 carry with 4300 or so Spin. Decent angle on it was about 41 degrees which I’m stoked on being able to hold greens with it. It makes a great sound when hit and overall is a great club

I wish, I got them through a fitter so the fitter either sent them back or kept them for someone else. I'm not 100% sure but the inconvenience got me discounts on other clubs so not the end of the world.

Picked up a Cure CX1 putter on a great deal. I am already loving the feel of this thing and I think will be my go to putter before I order my Edel.

 

I gotta get an Allen Key so I can alter the weight and possibly toss on a counterbalance grip but I'm also enjoying the Rosemark grip on this.

Had the exact same happen to me a few years ago. I picked up my new Callaway Big Bertha driver, 3 wood and x2hot hybrid and went straight out on to the course. First tee, take off the driver head cover only to be looking at a right handed head. Same with the fairway and hybrid. I played a few holes with my irons only before conceding defeat and walking in. I forget what the pro shop did to make it up to me.
