My #7 is solidly in the bag but I really want to try the ER5 again. When I owned one before I was draining putts but my "fitter" said it wasn't a good match. Since I've worked on the stroke, I'm more SBST and my most recent fitting puts me in about 0-15* hang. I just wish you could customize the putter to get a top line alignment line.

Anybody have any feedback on the ER2cs yet? I had $250 in a Dicks gift card and picked up an ER1.2 because they didn't have the ER2cs, but I have it for sale because I really wanted the ER2cs. I have more of a SBST stroke which I believe the ER2cs fits better.

The ER2 is just impressive. I put more pure roll on my putts today, than I have seen in some time. Something to be said for distance control, if the ball wasn't stopping next to the cup on lags, it was disappearing into

the cup. Excellent feel and sound coming off the putter,

Just pulled the trigger on the new ER3 wingblade. Doing it cold turkey since no one around here has them.

I just did the same with an ER1.2 off the BST. It's quite a change for me with all those sight lines, that's probably going to be the hardest thing for me to get accustomed to. We'll see how long it can stick around.

I could not get along with the 2 dots on top of their putters. Doesn’t line up with the sight line for me. Throws me off just enough.

I acquired an ER8 at PGA superstore. I stroked it great at the store and it felt good. I was really looking forward to using it on a real green. Out on the putting green last night, it was like a completely different putter. It felt dull, inconsistent and I didn't like the sound. Nothing about it was particularly good. I didn't putt well with it and I am thinking about taking back. Disappointed. Has anyone else found this to be the case and did the performance of the improve as you adapted to it?

I can not speak for the ER8, but when I put my ER2 into play, everything about this putter was spot on for me. It just makes putting fun, because I am making putts, and the confidence that I gain is getting better.

Obviously. You can't buy a putter...use it once and think it's garbage. Everything need a a few rounds and practice rounds before it's thrown to the weeds.

I know many people take Rick Shiels reviews very seriously. As a golfer that owned a putter company, and put the EVNROLL directly in the bag I completely agree with Rick.

 

Yeah Rick gets all kinds of Gear thrown at him weekly, and to hear him say " I don't think anything will make me toss this from my bag" is pretty huge. It's obviously a great putter.

 

He normally changes putters like most folk change underwear, so for it to have made it almost 3 months already is astounding. To have him say he can't see taking it out of his bag is another great endorsement as well.

Agree. Will be interesting to see if/when he switches and why.

 

My only thing with the ER6 is I wish they had the 2 extra line up lines like on the Ketsch. It helps me a ton to frame the ball up and from the pictures online it seems like they only have some "grooves" machined out of the cast piece. Wonder if I could ask them to custom paint inside that white?

The stock grip is pretty heavy. Changing to a lighter grip will boost the swing weight and make the head feel heavier.

The other day the bag drop guys forgot to fasten my bag and of course, they fell off. My Ping G400’s got a little scratched, no major dings. My Evnroll ER1 cover fell off and my putter dragged so the very bottom of the putter was scratched all along the bottom. Still playable though. I contacted Evnroll as the putter cover was badly chewed up, as were my 2 Cobra F8 hybrid covers. Contacted Evnroll and Cobra. Evnroll offered me a new cover for $32. I said forget it. I’ll use my Grateful Dead or NYY putter cover. Cobra wrote back and is sending me 2 new hybrid covers at NO CHARGE! Thank you Cobra for the outstanding service!!!! Evnroll, not so much. Disappointed. Heck, I might even use an old Ping cover and advertise for Ping

Kudos to Cobra, but that shouldn’t be a knock on Evnroll. Cart guy didn’t do his job, you didn’t check to see if they were strapped in, and Evnroll is somehow at fault?

i am not blaming Evnroll. I learned a lesson to always check my bag now. I’m just comparing customer service. Cobra’s customer service is excellent. I was hoping Evnroll would do the same, understanding they didn’t owe me anything. I love my ER1. Best putter I have ever owned and am proud using their product. While playing, many golfers see the Evnroll putter cover and ask me what kind of putter it is. They hit a couple putts and want one! I’ve had several people buy an Evnroll. Now they won’t notice their unique putter cover to spark up conversation.
