Can't blow a lead like that and then play the " it's dark card " and then if Phil implodes and you get in a playoff and win not think yourself cheap . Only way he can win now and it be clean is to hole this putt .... birdie 17 and eagle 18. Fat chance. But if he does that. Sure. Great comeback. If Phil hit one in the ocean on 17 and 18 and loses in a playoff. No not cool. My opinion of course. Knowing Paul is a great guy tells me he would agree with what I'm saying. Short story, allegedly, Fitzgerald being the 6.6 index he is, loaded up January with a ton of scores in the 90s. Shows up to Pebble with 10.6, gets course adjustment to 13. Then he wins Pro-Am by 7 shots. Granted, a handicap win often gets the suspicious talk, and there are many "explanations", but it did prompt a change for this year.
