I disagree - I'd say looks at address are just as important as feel and sound - maybe more so. Feel and sound don't come into play until impact and have precisely zero impact on performance. I couldn'

Here some pictures up close of the SIM only for now.     Wk

Side by side. SIM vs. SIM2   To me, the sim2 is more compact looking and the face is deeper. I like the slightly more grey top of the sim but the pear shape I think stands out more o

Interesting - I abstained from the SIM because it looks to have a substantially shallower face than my M5, so it's nice to see that deeper face again.

With that said...that look at address isn't what I'd call clean...

Thanks for sharing in any event.

#1 is Performance. Followed by Feel and Sound. Price is a factor. But looks, meh, overrated. If you can't get passed the looks of this driver at address you have bigger issues.

So no speed injection in the face this time.  Huh.

No toe pic, but I understood it is injected via a screw in the toe.

For some this is the case but looks are important. And what bigger issues? Wanting a nice look at address? Not like they are light years ahead of the competition.

Interesting, moving weights has been a thing with TM drivers for quite a while now. Odd to see them removed and so few options in terms of adjustability.

I like blue, so I dig the color scheme. As to the crown, that's on par with the looks since the M3, so I'm fine with it by now.

I also agree that looks can inspire confidence....no matter how amazing a driver can be for performance, I would never have gamed the wilson triton...would not be able to look down at that driver. I think looks starts off the testing process first and then it is solidified by feel and performance. For me at least...Same reason some folks prefer the look of blades vs game improvement irons...

I am guessing they had too many warranty replacements due to it. I center-faced a shot and dislodged the speed-foam mechanism inside the club. I'm sure others are doing it as well.

I wonder how they'll keep the speed across the face that they were claiming speed foam gave them (they claimed they went above the COR limitations in the center of the face and then dampened that part to the limit, allowing the entire face to be "hotter").

I could be making this up but I thought I heard you can customize the color? If it works I’ll get over it, but not a fan of that electric blue at address.

Do you know if there will there be a cost associated with that customization? I’m guessing so but hope not.

There is.  I know some people that work at both PGA and Golf Galaxy, and they've both been told about the cost of doing that.  I don't remember off the top of my head what the charge will be.

Thanks for the pics YW.  I'm super jealous that you got a hold of one already, lol.  It looks clean overall.  I like it.  Maybe I'm color blind, but anyone else notice that the carbon fiber crown looks a little darker in color?  I swear it looks like the color is in between the M4 and OG SIM.

My thoughts exactly.  First thought I had was of the blues mobile self destructing at the end of the movie.  Hit a ball and boom - it flies into 8 pieces.  Maybe they include glasses for safety ?
