Agree & disagree, I can't stand Koepka and don't like really Bryson either. Also agree Morikawa and Hovland are two of my favorites. 

 

But, I do find Bryson endlessly compelling. I don't like the guy, but I am interested in reading up on his latest shenanigans and mad science projects. He can overthink things and get wrapped around the axle, but he has some brilliant insights at times. IMO, he should give the Driver obsession a rest and get his iron precision dialed in. 

 

I find Brooks to be a lot of fun to root against. I get a nice dose of schadenfreude when he blocks a drive into the s*** or misses a makeable putt.

I've lost respect for Brooks over the last year for sure. Don't make excuses for losing, give your competitors (PHIL) credit and say he was the better man today, end of discussion. It used to be called "CLASS." Brooks doesn't appear to  have any. Bryson is definitely much more entertaining to watch, even when he struggles. Brooks makes P Reed look like a southern gentleman.

There is a lot of people on this thread with far fewer majors calling these guys stupid and fake.  Give them credit where credit is due - these guys are undisputedly top 10 in the world at what they do.  They are not stupid, and they don’t get there by being soft.  
 

I am going to appreciate this for what it is and enjoy the drama that comes along with it.  I enjoy that these men each bring something unique to the game that has lacked compelling personalities for quite some time.
 

To finish, let’s start asking these guys to settle their dispute for our enjoyment - in a pay per view boxing match for charity or something.

This is one of the best things I have ever seen in golf.  It's just like the olden days when Faldo and Azinger were going at it.  You have to love the competition.  One of the things wrong with leagues like the NBA is everyone is buddy buddy.  It was much better in the 80's when guys truly didn't like each other.  I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops.

I think Brooks is super douchy but also find it pretty funny. People always complain that no one in golf has personality and they all say the same stuff in interviews, etc. Along comes Brooks and now people complain about him, too. Love him or hate him, there's no one else remotely like him on the PGA Tour.

l agree about the one major comment. Total Richard move especially since it was directed towards one of the best of the last 10 years or so. 

 

But Brooks in general? Sign me up. I'd much rather listen to him answer questions than most other tour guys. The dude is a straight meathead with a gritty golf game.

Please.  Either of them is infinitely softer than 100 guys I can name from years gone by.  I watched a YouTube video this morning where bryson cries because it’s raining.  Not while he plays golf. While he drives to look at his new “ property “.  Then he cries because he had to get up at 6 am. I mean come on.  They’re Uber talented. Yes.  But hard ?   😂

Koepka is doing an interview. He is a professional. He should be able to keep it together during a professional obligation, and then deal with this at a different time if he needs to. 

 

But, it never should have happened in the first place.

Both of these guys are weird. I don't dislike either , but both these guys are weird, or awkward, or whatever.

 

if these guys are the future of golf Phil needs to win majors until hes 65. Because even if Phil is fake like everyone said he was 15 years ago, Phil at least seems cool. Like you'd like to win a round with Phil at Torrey or something

Note (edit): i'm maybe being too hard on Bryson. I am a bit intrigued by him at least. I'm not sure if he's brilliant and we're all just not in on the joke, in an Andy Kauffman'esque way. I doubt it....but it's at least possible

that’s easy, Bryson is way friendlier and he’d be so busy measuring air density he’d never notice you, but at least he’d talk to you until you asked him to please stop. 

 

Bruce on the other hand would just no show cause no of you are good enough to be in his presence.  Besides, what has he won lately, like 1 event or something?  Yeah, I don’t think he’s good enough to get it done.

Brooks every day of the week. At least he'd be cool to hang out with. Bryson would start talking about air densities and the spectromety and diffusion of the sunlight and I would have to contemplate all the ways I could hurt him with the clubs in my bag....

The sound of metal spikes on concrete is one of the most heavenly sounds on earth!

 

Becoming less of a fan of Brooks, particularly because of the cursing. Not because I dislike cursing, but because it comes off like he's putting it in there to look like a tough guy. Kinda lame. 

 

Glad there's a feud though, this stuff is good for golf.
