This! I have a tour issue SIM2 with a $350 Ventus Black that I can’t hit for beans and hate! But it impresses my golf buddy Frank! And don’t get me started on the $35 garage find 2-Ball that I love but don’t use to save myself the ridicule down at my local muni!!! Can’t stand the 5.5 my fragile ego forces me to use 😞

I always take it as the sort of analytical "engineer" problem that we hear Tiger Woods have a lot too. The fact that these guys are so far down their respective rabbit holes with their games, technique, understanding of their bodies etc etc that they completely neglect finding coherent ways of explaining themselves e.g. "glutes didn't activate" etc. When Bryson said "drivers are built wrong" I translated that to mean "the combination of CG placement and MOI with the lofts I use needs to be a certain way at my speeds with my miss, and they haven't done that yet". Maybe that is giving him too much credit, but i'd rather believe that he knows that stuff and just drops the ball communicating it.

Also these guys are so good that any tiny change can be the world of difference and for us normals, it wouldn’t do anything.  They have perfected their craft so well that they know exactly where everything is body, club face, arms, hips, hands, etc and I can’t tell unless it’s something glaring that’s wrong. 
 

remember the story about when TW first changed to TM and they were making his irons.  They thought they made identical sets of clubs for him and Tiger grabbed one and stated he would tell a 1/2 gram weight difference between 2 exact heads.  The TM spokesman stated they weighed it and sure enough Tiger was right.  Now take that with a grain of salt but I think he does have one of the best hands/feel ever and most could be true and he can feel things normal people would never feel any difference.

BIG difference is, if Tiger did play them and had a bad round, he would have never said in a public interview “The irons suck”. 😉

Id putt with an actual broom if it got the ball in the hole easier.  Then id make jokes to my friends about how im sweeping them out with the rest of the trash, while taking their money to the bank.

Very talented golfers, not just pros, can tell subtle differences and be impacted by changes in weighting or just weight placement. The more consistent you are the more you can tell subtle changes.

A lot of carry over from sim lines...ti face regular and steel faced "max" version. Same color scheme as the driver but they have a line that runs along the face side of the topline, from heel to toe, to aid in alignment.

Please refer to the USGA & R&A approved driver list. Odd the Stealth pus has MWT restored after TM stating it was unnecessary in the SIM 2.

Could be the angle, but the plus definitely looks longer front to back.  The regular stealth seems to resemble the OG sim more.

Glad to see they went back with the weight track this year. I much preferred my OG Sim over the Sim2 as I could slide the weight out to the Toe.
