Question... I know we'll find out soon enough, but for those "in the know" with this new release of the ZX irons, are the new ZX5's also supposed to be slimmed down (top line, sole, etc.) like the rumours about the new ZX7's (smaller sole, thinner top line, moved mass, etc.)... If they get it right, it could be the best irons of 2022/23, just like the original ZX lineup was touted as being the best underestimated irons or the previous model year... Thx

well for those of you who’ve seen it, it ain’t the prettiest looking club they’ve made. T-zoid post is pretty darn accurate. I’m sad but glad I have a back-up set of 945s.

All that was shown was the blade. Looked like the old Mizuno TZoid iron. I doubt the rest of the line will look similar.

It's not my favorite design, but it's better than the swirly Z forged IMO. The 945 is the gold standard for Srixon blades.

 

Now, let's see the updated ZX5/7!

It's as always and in every category. The first pictures comes out and 90% of the people won't like it.

 

Than, after the club is released and we see real world pictures, or got it in hand, everyone raves about it how good it looks.

 

For me, the actual Z forged is an awful looking club with the wave. Never liked it. 

 

As mentioned before, the Z945 are the best looking Blades Srixon released. And it's not even close.

how so? By stamping Muira on it? I agree the z forged II is kinda lame... But otherwise.. I dig it.

The general design is similar, but every aspect of the Miura is better.  Better cut lines, the brushed steel look etc

I’d say wait till new one is released and save even more money. Unless you become obsessed with looks of new one. Playability will most def be the same.
