It's the pictured long irons in the staff player's bags that did it for me. i E1 had that CTP buried deep behind that horizontal bar too. i230 you get a tungsten toe screw instead of an internal weight piece, cosmetically not me favorite. But no biggie.

i over looked them for along time and then bought a used set here on a whim for a backup set, hated them day one, threw them the garage and then gave them another shot.  I have bought T100's,PXG's & a few others including i210's these are better than any of those for me. I am looking to make a combo set and add different 4/5 irons as I hit those too high.

PXG’s 0311 T line is one of the best feeling irons I’ve ever owned. Right up with Mizuno and Srixon if not better, and yes I’ve owned 2 sets of i210’s

They released the 425 in Aus/NZ/Japan early last time, and the howling out of America was deafening.

 

They released the Blueprints 5 months after seeing them first on tour; Jan->Jun.

...after an inquiry, the most recent word I got was i230 fitting heads now arriving "+/-Nov".

 

so apparently i230 is a fluid situation for some reason.

 

EDIT: side note, after this week HOPEFULLY we'll have all more info, there should be more details emerging.

IF they are available in November, Ping will have been out of the i series for almost 18 months.  
 

They way things have been going, half expect to hear that Pingman has Monkeypox and the i230 are further delayed.

Mid november is too late. Would have prefer a release maximum late october, so that i havent loss my swing for the entire winter.

I know you usually have great inside info but I met with the regional Ping rep Wednesday. He was just out of their sales meeting a week or so prior. He said order dates 1st or 2nd week in September with 10/14 retail delivery. That pretty much equates to the +/- November. Was hoping sooner. Between this and the TSr release at end of September its going to be expensive.

Ping hasn't had the i210 available for well over a year for order.  So there's no need to rush things.
