Personally I think they all look great and I never remember what a club looks like when getting ready to hit a shot on a course. While I game an Epic Speed the thing I like about Cobra is they include a “real deal” shaft in the MSRP while TM, Callaway, Titleist and Ping keep us in the dark about what shaft we’re actually getting for our money without an upgrade for even more $$$.

I think they all have great features to them, but address look matters to me a bit. Like I couldn’t even take a pic of the Ping G430 because it’s so ugly 😂

So I picked up a tour issued Aerojet LS last week and got to take it out today.  Paired it with a Ventus Black TR 5X shaft.  Over the ball, the head looks outstanding.  Can easily square it up to the line you pick.  This is the first time I’ve swung any club in about a month.  Not even good around swings in the house just went to the course (we have had horrible weather for about 3-4 weeks anyway) and on to the first tee.  Feels great off the face but I did have a couple I can turn over more than I wanted.  I know it’s has to do more with the swing and not the club.  When I did square a couple up, they felt great and distance was really nice.  Hard to tell as it’s 41-45* sunny but so muddy and wet that everything was plugging.  Had a few dead center of the fairway and had a hard time finding them (cart path only).

Aerojet std fwy won out on 3w testing...it's in the bag. Overtook rogue st ls. Was slightly better than std paradym: a bit faster and fewer left misses. It won out over stealth2+ simply because of dispersion while also not being significantly slower.

Time to get it outdoors and see if it holds up.

In the fairway, did you see any differences on low strikes, with that aero-bridge tech? Less spinny, more speed than the rogue in that situation? I really love my Rogue, but could be a little better on the low strikes.

I agree with you about the Ping. I was speaking about the difference between the course and the range. I’m dialed in on the course and I don’t notice the look of my clubs over the ball vs the range where I’m always working things out.

Yeah I did. The aero was lower spin on the low strikes than paradym. I recall 2 shots that were hit about the same. Paradym spin crept up to 4200 and aerojet reached 3800. Both were terrible strikes but very similar.

The std models in paradym and aero were about equal. What separated aero was the spin on low strikes and aero didn't go left as often.

First round with aerojet in the books.

Std model. This thing is really long. I have it set to 14* with a ventus black shaft.

This thing is REALLY straight.

Gonna have to try it at 15* because the flight is really flat. Launches low and spins low. If 15* produces higher flight but still as straight as I hit it today then it's awesome.

Just a bit more tweaking...while I wait for my stealth2+ 3w to come for head to head testing on course.

I had my mind set on the new Stealth Plus 5 wood that I was going to turn down to play as a 4 wood until I tried the standard Aerojet 3 wood yesterday turned up 1.5° and seeing the 5 wood in person. I need higher launch off the deck and tee when it comes to fairway woods, and a 4 wood has always done better for me.

The face angle staying square when turning the 3 wood up compared to the Stealth Plus 3 wood was a big deal to me, and the fact that the Aerojet wasn’t too spinny turned up 1.5° either. I’m still going to end up getting the Aerojet 5 wood and play it down in loft as a 4 wood instead of the Stealth Plus 5 wood.

I still want a touch more spin and launch than the 3 wood was giving me, but the 3 wood was still really good. The savings with getting the Cobra instead of the TM will get me another pair of shoes I don’t need 😂

Anybody seen or hit the Aerojet 7W yet?

I’m looking for a 7W with a slightly deeper face than G430/Paradym and a slightly larger body than TSR2. On paper, Aerojet really fits the bill.

But as a lefty, finding one of these to check out and demo in person is impossible.

Man, watching some reviews and seeing witb pics this week really have me wanting to try this thing. I almost bought the ltdx ls last year. It was a ball speed monster and felt really good. I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist the Aerojet. I ordered the king cb and all of a sudden I am starting to fall for the aesthetics of this one.

If it can be as fast as the ltdx but more stable, then I think I may need it in the bag.

The shape is interesting. It really reminds me of the mavrik driver. The sole swept up towards the crown at the back.

Aerojet LS is definitely low spin. Tons of speed and more stable than I was expecting. Definitely worth lofting up a bit.

I've heard a few comments about lofting up. Is this a common theme for those who have been fit for the LS?

I was surprised at his results with the ls. I found it to be a typical low spin, "better players" club with just that slight missing forgiveness element. My dispersion with it looked like his dispersion with the std. My dispersion with std looked like his ls. I get 148-152 ballspeed with 3w. I found the std to be just incredibly easy to hit. It's been the same way on course.

Snagy - on the std aero 3w, loft up isn't necessary. On the ls, if you need a bit of assistance with launch and spin then a lofted up aero ls could be really good. They put std loft at 14.5 on the ls so you're only lofting up to 15.5 (which I loved).

9 degree ls head here, on lower side of launch. Also lower spin but with some. forgiveness. Low mid bullets.  Great club.

Have a Rad XB 9* (@9*) and went with the 10.5* Aerojet LS (-1, 9.5*) so I'm not talking about a huge amount, but it did influence which head I bought. I would rather loft down on the 10.5* than loft up on the 9* head.

Design philosophy is very similar LTDx to Aerojet. Updated cosmetics, no ridges on the crown, flatter lie angles, slight boost to off center hits with pwrbridge, better aerodynamics. Definitely not worse. LTDx was already good and gains will be marginal.

My son & I went and got fit Sunday before the Super Bowl. Both heads are very low spinning heads. I was hitting the regular head and was consistently in the 1,800-2,000 range unless I just really missed a shot.

my son hit the LS and was seeing very similar spin numbers
