1 driver for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Mine would be the original Bang Golf Bang-o-Matic with the original Graffalloy Blue by far!!! Played that set up for almost 13 years before the head developed a small crack. By that time Steve Almo sold the company and the replacements just weren't the same. Apparently I wasn't smart enough to buy a back-up.

One Driver for life??? Who would have thunk? It would have to be my current Titleist TS2 9.5. Given how far I hit it today, can't imagine how long I would have been with it when I was younger.

This is the ONLY one I have seen other than mine. The “C” indicates a carbon top like you can see on most other drivers (Epic Flash), it has a much better sound than the OEM. I live here in Japan (military) and the blue is a sweet addition. Love it and it’s a beast!

The headcover is pretty cool too!

Not sure how or why but my new to me M1 with purple Oban shaft has been the best driver I have ever hit. 910D2 is in the backup bag beside the G400 max.

Seriously though, two answers. One for distance and one for old trusty.

 

EFSZ with Tour AD DI-6 is consistently the longest. Can be as long as I was 15-20 years ago. Unfortunately, timing gets me sometimes and I can hit it off the planet. If I had to go with just consistency then it would be the FT-Tour with kai’li 70. Good distance and a fairway finder. I’ve even tried the shaft in the EFSZ and I just can’t get it to feel the same.

 

So the ho in me says go EFSZ because it’s easier to change shafts. The OP didn’t say we couldn’t change the shaft. ?

Either my current G400 Max gamer, or 910D3.

 

G400 Max is most forgiving I have ever had.. 910D3 was such great feel and could easily work both ways.

I tried everything last year and just about everything this year as I was going through a new bag fitting. It's forgiving, very adjustable, I like the sound, I like the look at address, I have nothing to complain about it.

 

The only thing would be getting into a better shaft, right now I have the Tour 65S shaft in there as it worked but there was better for me just financial reasons doing a whole bag. So once I get something better in there maybe this fall I'll have this for a while.
