Well, I do put headcovers on the driver, wood, hybrid, and putter..but what is driving you nuts - do share?!?!? I use a Clicgear 3.5 pushcart, so my club layout is designed for that purpose. Does that help?

Woods have to be at the top the bag, irons below... headcovers aside I'd have nightmares about the iron heads clattering against the graphite shafts

my older brother held onto this wedge (which was his) because it was also one my late father played with (passed when I was 5) and compared to the 588 forged wedge I had. It passes through the ground a lot better with a not so sharp leading edge. (Im a digger)

Plus because of its playing ability, I have been much more consistent than before and with consistency I have my confidence locked down. My father shot around par and under at times, so I aspire to get my own game that good. (Here’s a dime I dropped in the summer after making the switch to the wedge from 65-70yds) I could say more but I’ll just leave that for another thread ?

Swapped out the GP Wraps for Winn Executives on the Mizzies the other day. Never played anything but GP but a buddy showed up for a round with some Winns on a driving iron he got and I really, really liked the feel.

Like 'em so much, Imma swap out the TVs on my wedges for the same but midsize. Thems there are just standard.

Just picked up a basically unhit set of these Cleveland 792Ts. Totally goes against what I like in an iron but have an interest in 90s equipment as that’s when I started and was always intrigued by the 792’s bizarre design. The 792T is far more rare. Saw a set about 10 years ago for cheap and it’s the one find I’ve always kicked myself for not buying. These have regular graphite shafts and will be fun to try on a whim or my Dad may use them.

I think that iron broke the Maltby Playability Factor scale IIRC.

I recall that too but never really read up on MPF. I actually have the 1993 Golf Magazine club test where the 792 appears. It got very solid reviews, so I’ll see what happens. I tried the PW yesterday between snow banks in the yard and it was ok. A bit straight with the leading edge and will be interesting to see how any bounce occurs with that hosel position.

Yeah I for one don't put a lot of emphasis on MPF. I think it has some merits but largely exists as a tool to promote his own designs. I personally find it off putting that he puts it on the hosels of his irons as if anybody really cares that much. Anyway, enjoy your purchase. They won a U.S. Open!

I have the VAS 792 "D" wedge (52 deg). Like you, I had to have it. I remember them well from back in the day. Bizarre design that I've yet to hit. Was free to me from a courses L&F barrel.

D-wedges are great. Cleveland should have never stopped the 588 Diadic 53*.

I may have to post the 792 review page. Everyone seemed to like it and commented on how straight they went. I’ll definitely put that to the test with my “fade.”

Cleveland CBX2 54/12 and 58/10 “full face”. Like the look of the full face wedge a lot. Much better looking than the Hi-Toe style wedges

Came across this Nike putter on eBay. Really loved the design of the Method Core line up when they came out. Can’t wait to try it out on the course. Gonna throw on a Winn Pro grip and take it for a spin this weekend.
