New callaway driver “mavrik” (Pics added Page 8)

True, Mavrik's orange colors did not look that bad but not my favorite color. If it performs better than what I have, it is easy to look past the colors or trims.

I'm a big believer that the only looks that matter are the looks at address and the look of the trackman data

Local golf shop said the Mavrik Pro irons look a lot better than the Mavrik's and the #'s on trackman were insane as well as the dispersion. Said the driver wasn't the best looking on the bottom but at address it was totally fine. Didn't have any to peak at in store yet.

This sounds like it will be a different line similar to the xhot etc. IMO they either keep the Flash and add this one or this one we are talking about is a different line and Cally will be releasing two drivers. No way that their "main" driver is not adjustable.

It has the adjustable neck that cally has had out for a while. Just no sliding weights on the head.

Couple of comments my pro mentioned after he saw them. Callaway is taking the Std, Draw and Sub Zero models down the line-up with woods and hybrids in Mavrik. I guess its similar to what Ping has done. Also he thinks the star of the show is the new Odyssey Triple Track putters. Black putters with the same alignment as the ball. All balls will have the triple track. Will be interesting to see if it helps sell balls.

I will say this. Some of the stuff that has come out ive said ew no way will i try or want that.. like epic flash or jaws wedges... when ive seen and tryed in person though..

Well i have 2 jaws wedges on the way lol you dont truly know until its in your hands. This stuff could be nicer then appears or sounds lol

Love my vokeys, but have Jaws a shot at an outdoor demo day and was blown away. Hate the dots, but boy are these performers.

If you aren't massively steep with your bunker play the S will be just fine.

The new iron line looks bad IMO
