Poll: What is your average total driving distance (male) by age?

On average and by age, what is your average total driving distance?  Yardages should be your average are based on total roll-out numbers, not just carry.

For the courses I typically play in my area, I'd say about 15 miles.

Punched .... 260 yds avg, but have had a number in the 270/280's when the fairways were extra firm. This was my P/B this year.

 

It was Oct 6th, a sunny warm morning with a south wind, was hitting the ball well and when we got to #8 a 343 yd par 4, I hit a high draw with a push wind that bounced a number of times on our hard fairways, the guys said you need to measure that shot, walked out to the ball my G80 said it went 326 yds my P.B. ever. Was about 19 yds from the blue pin, hit solid wedge to 3 ft & made birdie, finishing with the same ball, 3 over 75 one stroke higher than my lowest round on this track.

 

It was a good year, our seasons over we got snow, thinking of upgrading to new G425 Max, need every advantage technology has available.

My "average good drive" is much farther than my "average drive" selected in this poll because it's dragged lower by too many crappy hits. 

 

Also playing with a 16 year old driver I've got to be leaving yards on the table... I really need to upgrade to a new "used" driver next year... maybe a G30, but I'm not spending $400 plus on the newest driver like my buddies because I still hit it past them 🙂

Average drive distance is about 310. If I want it to be in the fairway, 285-290 with a fairway swing!  43 y/o (age hasn't caught up with me yet)

Pick up a used Srixon 785.  I got mine for $185 in mint condition with a CK Pro Orange 70TX shaft and it goes just as far as everything else out there.  I hit it straighter too

Sucks living in Florida in the summer. Not because of the heat and humidity...nope, it's because my drives carry 270 and rollout to 272. 

 

At disney just a week ago, tight par4 that I always play driver off the deck for my tee shot. Rollout was about 5 yards. Everything stays wet.

I play in the northeast and play at 7AM on soaked courses. I haven't had more than 10yds of rollout since aught'6

 

I picked 260-280 and i can carry it 260 fairly easy

My home course tends to be wet and my carry distance and total distance are usually the same!!  I'm 78 and carry drives around 210 yards, but when I was in my twenties managed 270-280 regularly, with persimmon and sloppy balls. Yep. I'm a consistent 265-270 carry guy. Since about july it's plop and stop here in Orlando. I live golf in Texas in March. I hit bombs out there. 300+ unless it's into the wind. But it's 30+yards of roll.

40-49: 240-260 here based on how my rounds have played out this season. Very little rollout due to it being fairly wet here most of the time, and temperatures very rarely are over 20 C. On the two days I played where the temps were over 25, I think I was hitting it about 10 yards longer (nice to play one club less).

I haven't met a single person on GolfWRX that doesn't average over 300 yards. (at least based on the way they post)

My answer is a little skewed since I'm averaging about 240 teeing off with the GAPR Mid 3 on most holes.

I'm looking at this as a 45 year old man that hits it pretty well.  I'm usually outdriving a lot of people, especially in my age group, but somehow my average off the launch monitor puts me below the majority of people in my age group.  I think people are confused by the term average.
