Tall golfers, what length putter do you play?

6'2" and in the process (putter project) of moving to 35 1/2" from 35" I've been at for years.  Just noticed over the summer I tend to naturally grip my 35" length putters with a little bit of overhang from my left heel pad and want to get that on the grip.  Needed 1/2".  Also need to practice putting, but that's another thread.

To OP's question other than length, the new build will be a bit of a lighter head than I've been using last few years (330g), a shaft that won't be stiff and dead, back to Anser-ish head vs. mallet (LaMont's MA/55).  Looking for more of a "hit" with my stroke, than the feel I'm just sort of pushing the ball out there or dragging in along with the putter head.

6'5" and use a putter at 36.5".  I used 35" since I started playing in the 90's and made the switch 2 years ago after a recommendation from PING.  I play my irons at +1".

This move has really improved my putting.  I don't feel hunched over and probably should have went longer years ago.

Anyone know or can recommend any lighter head mallets? My trusty Ping Ketch I extended from 34.5 to 36.5 because of lower back issues. I’m 6’2”. Head is 355grams and just too heavy feeling.

I'm 6-5 ...

I'm currently at a 35", and it seems like the sweetspot ... I've been as long as 43" for a counterbalance, 37" for standard ... as short as 33" for standard, and all the way down to 27" for an ill-conceived (and expensive) experiment.

Height really isn't the determining factor, it's more about wrist to floor measurement, and where to you like to bend.

I'm currently using 35" as mentioned before but have been feeling hunched over the ball even at that. I'm waiting on 2 putters to be built and I'm contemplating asking the first to be built to 35.5" and the other I'll have it built up when I get the head. I've used 36" in the past and felt fine I just like heavy but it can get too heavy.

I'm 6'6. I have been using a 37.5" Toulon 7 with a 50g counterweight. I just got a new putter that I think may be my new gamer though. It's currently at 35" but I'm planning on having it reshafted to either 36 or 36.5; 35' is definitely too short, my back hurts real quick, but I've found 37.5 a bit tough to control for shorter puts.

Exactly. 6’4” and a 38.5 WTF and 6’4” with a 37” WTF is apples to oranges. I happen to be 6’4” barefoot with a 38.5 WTF and am totally comfortable with a 35” putter. FWIW My irons are 1” over Mizuno and Titleist standard.
