The results so far kind of mirrors golf seen globally this year. There is Rahm and there are americans.  Not only Europeans but also top players around the world seem to have underperformed, save the US players. For some reason.

To me, all the players should always have it in their minds that will have to hole out every putt. The gimme is always used as gamesmanship to needle a player, but can sometimes not giving a gimme can work in player's favor and work against a player. In this case, I think Bryson will have the last laugh. Like him or not Bryson is highly entertaining. 417 yard drive on hole #5 with that insane line, stuffs a 72 yard pitch to 5 feet then drains the putt for each. Video game stuff. 😂

Yeah, Rory has gone from 4 to 15 in 2021.

Hatton has gone from 10 to 19.

Fitzpatrick has gone from 16 to 27.

Fleetwood has gone from 17 to 36.

Wiesberger has gone from 40 to 63.

Reed couldn't even break 80 playing with Tiger in 2018 in Paris. Reed has not won a team match in any international competition w/o Jordan Spieth as his partner. Berger already has. Reed w/o his Linus blanket Spieth is 0-7 in the RC and PC competitions in fourball and foursomes. So Reed is 0-5 in the 2018/2019 RC and PC in team competitions. Let that sink in. To say nothing of him being a miserable toxic a'hole when he doesn't get his way. So how would Reed have been better this week? Easy answer. He wouldn't be.

The players from both sides need to suck it up and quit whining about not conceded (supposed gimmie) putts. Good article on this. Everybody misses short putts under pressure.

Couple interesting matches DCB vs Serg and Morikawa vs Hovland.  I just really hope they show none of Thomas match.  What a complete tool, looks like such an a** when celebrating.  It's embarrassing and uncomfortable watching him.

Rory out first is strategically sensible - Euros need so many wins the only chance is if Rory gets an early win and inspires the rest of the team. If Rory goes out 8th and loses then the Euros have definitely lost.

First off I could care less what Butch Harmon thinks or what that Colin Connor guy thinks period. I mean Butchie promotes those rot on the shaft in a month Winn grips.

Actuall I thought Bryson was funny I cracked up. I personally do not think there would be as much contriversy if Poulter or Sergio had pulled that gag.  My .02 FWIW

Because the only hats being worn are the branded RyderCup ones as part of the uniform. They only made baseball caps... So, he's hatless because they didn't make a skullcap in rydercup fashion, and cannot wear anything else otherwise it would not be part of the uniform. Not hard.
