Wow.  I had no idea he lived in the Houston area.  The driveway in his IG post about the car looks awfully familiar.  Small world. 

 

Too bad about the car.  I'd love one, but shudder at the thought of driving something with that ground clearance on Houston roads.  Well that, and I don't have a tenth of the money to blow on spending it for a GT2RS.

The differential treatment given to teams from that scandal was but one of a gazillion straws (Covid and contemporaneous phenomena were others) that caused me to shun professional sports in their entirety.  Besides golf.  I'll watch a baseball game, if the pro shop/bar has it on, but care or follow it?  Nope.

Were I working at my long-ago job, I could just ask employees/select dancers at The Men's Club to see if/how often he'd darkened their door.  Or the Waffle House on Westheimer outside the Belt:  same/same.

 

Alas, I'm in a better, less dramatic place now.  And outside of Houston proper, thank God.
