I used to go to the Greater Greensboro Open (now Wyndham Championship) every year back in the day with my dad. Also went to the Senior US Open in ... '95 I think? It was at Pinehurst and that's where I met Jack Nicklaus, which was super cool.

Haven't been to any since but might try to get to some of the LA tournaments next year.

The Honda Classic-played the course 3 different years just before it was shutdown for the tournament

A Saturday on 16 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open is unlike any sporting event I’ve ever been to.

1989 US Senior Open @ Laurel Valley*** 1994 Friday Night of the US Open @ Oakmont. Didn't attend the tournament. However was at a party across the street from Oakmont at a condo when the OJ freeway chase was taking place.

I went to two IVB Classics (Outside Philadelphia) in the early seventies. Followed Jack, Billy Casper and Dave Marr. Met Chuck Bednarik in the gallery. He was a member at the course.

Went to a couple of Westchester Classics in the mid eighties. Mostly practice rounds. That was a good tournament because it was a week before the US Open and as the greens there were really fast, a lot of top players participated.

First pro event that I ever went to. 4 Hours on the bus from Moray down and then a sprint out to catch up with and watch Tiger. Also Darren Clarke stood on my foot...as a 13 year old in trainers it was pretty sore for a lad of his size wearing old school spikes to stand on you.

Would love to see a BO on-site.

Masters sound good in theory but I suppose too cumbersome for too little excitement in the end.

Food was better at the Japan Open, for sure.

Will try to go see the ladies in Phoenix next year.

I think they could get an LPGA event here in Tucson. Plenty of great tracks that would set up well for them.

I don’t think anything here could handle the big boys though.

Saw the Barclays at Ridgewood CC a few times back when I lived in NJ, Bethpage back in 08(?),Liberty national, Shriners a few times in Vegas, Northern trust at Riviera, and was at Pebble for the recent U.S. Open. There is no better sport to watch live IMO. I can not remember the years I was there, mostly just the courses...

I have attended the Deutsche Bank outside Boston a three times and the Senior Tour stop at Nashawtuc C.C. in Concord, MA several times. In 2007 I attended the Presidents Cup at Royal Montreal (Blue course). Amazing gofl course that can be made savagely difficult if they chose to. It was more birdie friendly for the Presidents Cup, but none the less fantastic.
