Quick picture of the King Tour next to the T100. Both 7 irons and the Cobra is on the left. Little longer blade length but less offset. Cobra look really good!

I'm just having a tough time with the price for a Cobra product.

In Canada, it's more expensive than T100, Mizuno JPX 919 Tour, and the P7 range from TM.

Cobra’s players irons have always looked so good at address. 
I feel like one of their best advantages recently was that they were priced under the competition. $1300 for 4-PW? 
1200-1300 seems to be the new norm for a set from the recent Mizuno and TM releases...

As someone who loves Cobra gear and has had the Amp Forged, FlyZ+, and King Forged Tour, I’m excited to try these, but I can’t imagine they’ll grow their market share with that pricing?

Maybe it's the production cost driving that price?  I don't know how much it costs to produce obviously.  But, when you're doing something completely different from the norm, the cost to tool and change production is usually pretty steep.  I feel like the first pics of this iron came out almost a year ago.  Seems like forever ago that I saw the first pics on Golf Digest or something like that.  

 

In any event, the cost of a quality set of irons is definitely on the rise.  But, it is hard to avoid with anything.  I feel like golf has been fortunate to be relatively inflation free for a while.  When you look at the cost of clubs from almost 20 years ago to now, it hasn't really followed the typical inflation rate.

They do have a really wider selection than most OEMs. The only stuff missing from what I can tell is the brand new Project X LS and IO and some between flex stuff like a C-Taper Stiff+. Otherwise they even have a lot of limited edition shafts availavle.

These are sooo clean, can't wait to give them a few swings and see what that MIM can really do in an iron. I don't know that I really felt much with the wedge but hopefully the irons stand out!

Crossfield did a review on them.  I don’t take his word as the end all be all, but he mentioned over and over again how the feel really stands out to him.  He was a Mizuno fan boy and currently on staff with Srixon, that says a lot.  Take it as is...

 

They look great at address.  Cobra does an excellent job with offset.

I got 15 holes in with them last night and Cobra has a great set of irons here. Really soft feel and a solid thud at impact. Off-center strikes will give a little more of a click and added vibration, but nothing that is too harsh. Responsiveness is good and ball flight for me was mid/high with a decent amount of spin. Shots from the fairway stopped instantly on the green and even shots from the rough only released a small amount. Easy to work the ball high, low, right, or left but they were still decently forgiving. Thin shots still had some decent carry and frequently got to the front of the green. It was a pretty overcast day here, so no comment on the full chrome finish and glare yet.
