PXG Gen 4 STICKS (Irons & Woods)... 2021

TRC723

Recommended Posts

Played my first round with my 0811 X Gen 4 driver. Ball explodes off the club face. Not sure if it’s longer than my Sim Max because the wind direction was opposite than what it usually is at my home course so it was hard to compare with where I’m usually at but that head and HZRDUS Yellow 60 sure generates some nice ball speeds!

I believe FedEx Ground only does home delivery M-F. Regarding delays, the club I ordered last month went 900+ miles in the wrong direction. When I saw it was heading way out of the way on the FedEx website, I called PXG then FedEx to raise it as an issue. The PXG Shipping Manager got engaged, and the shipping route was corrected. The club only arrived 4 days later than promised. I was told that FedEx was having hub issues at certain hubs, and that they were rerouting shipments as a result. It's frustrating but my club eventually got to me undamaged.

FedEx Home Delivery delivers 7 days a week. My friend'ss order from PXG, a set of irons and woods, was delivered last Sunday. My weight kit I ordered is scheduled for delivery today, Sunday, but has yet to show "out for delivery".

FedEx is by far the worst. The last 2 items I bought from PXG, shipping was a nightmare. Both times FedEx picked up from PXG and then the package sat at their Scottsdale facility for 4-5 days, until I called PXG and they got involved. Then they claimed they attempted to deliver on Sat but no one was home, which was bullxxxx bc my wife and I were home all day and no tag was left on the door. I only found this out by checking the tracking number online. When I called FedEx they admitted that no attempt was made and that the driver lied about attempting to deliver. They said the next attempt wouldn't be until Tuesday, I screamed and yelled at them and then low and behold they delivered on Sunday. My Gen 4 irons were shipped today, I'm hoping I get them by next weekend.

I guess it depend on where you live. The FedEx website shows 7 day a week deliveries, but where I am we don't see a FedEx (or UPS) truck over the weekend. But then again, I live in a rural part of a western State some 20 miles outside the nearest town (which only has a population of 60,000). Heck, we can't even get a pizza delivered. The pluses and minuses of living in wide open spaces.

So what you're saying is they don't deliver 7 days a week... 😉

FedEx stopped delivering Sunday in my area after the holidays...

I no longer have FedEx deliver my PXG deliveries to my home because of prior issues plus the signature requirement. I now have them delivered to the FedEx Office location in town, and then swing by to pick it up there. It's amazing how many of the home delivery issues have disappeared when FedEx has to deliver to one of their own locations and sign for it. It doesn't fix the time delay issues in the FedEx hubs during transit from Scottsdale, but once it reaches Colorado all the issues seem to evaporate. Our local delivery driver is a good guy, but he can't resolve all the issues upstream of him.

Great!!! Now it’s showing delivered and says that I signed for the clubs. I have not signed for them. And there are no clubs to be seen anywhere around my house. f***.

That happened to me once..I think it has to do with their metrics...showed delivered then showed a new delivery date the next day. Fed ex does not deliver on Sundays in my area...hoping for the best for you

This is what I meant to do but it was going to only be available tomorrow and I got greedy.

Now I have to reach out to PXG and FedEx to report someone other than myself signed for them. This sucks. It was supposed to be a good day…and I shot my best ever 86 today. Damn.

FedEx is really bad now.  Probably worse than USPS was back in Dec.   I should clarify FedEx ground is really bad, as that is how PXG ships.  I think it is insane that you pay so much for shipping and buying expensive clubs and PXG does not ship 2 day FedEx or UPS.   I have talked and emailed to them several times about this with no luck.

Last four FedEx deliveries from PXG this year have never arrived on time and eta is always screwed up.  It is FedEx ground fault, but I blame PXG for continuing to ship ground.  If PXG wants to be the premium golf company, act like it.

Anyone familiar with FedEx tracking?

Mine was delayed - of course. This morning it shows “on truck for delivery.”

But it says that it’ll be delivered by tomorrow by 8pm. Wtf?

FedEx sucks. They are horrible.

PXG is very aware of the issues they are causing the PXG customers.

I am having so many issues with FedEx; they are horrendous.

PXG is well award of the issues with FedEx; it would not surprise me at all if they negotiated a new contract with a different vendor.

Next day and 2 day air are available at a cost. Lesson learned for me-  I will always pay to have the clubs shipped by overnight air.

Folks, they all are having problems for various reasons right now...Shipping larger size packages successfully seems to be luck of the draw lately...I've never had a problem with PXG and FedEx, others have...However, I have had problems with other golf stores and UPS/USPS...Is it really an "issue" if we receive the items a few days later than some system generated date?...No, an issue would seem to fall under we never received it or received it damaged...Then you have a reason to whine and moan...Otherwise, just us your patience...Things are whacky right now...

Earlier this year my irons were shipped with FedEx and they got lost. I contacted them about the shipment and they confirmed they did not know where they were and started the refund process with the vendor. Then out of no where the clubs show up. Hopefully my Gen 4 driver is delivered as scheduled.

I had that as well except I am in Tampa area and ordered something from Miami. It was shipped to El Paso, TX, then to Memphis, TN, then to Nashville, TN where it sat for 3 days, then Orlando to Tampa to Sarasota then back to Tampa and delivered two days later. And it was just a t-shirt sent in a bag. So yeah, they’re all bad. And I almost can’t even fault PXG for sticking with FedEx because of this.

Unfortunately Amazon has turned me into an instant gratification monster. I order a lot of product through work UPS, Fed EX and DHL, Through my experience UPS is the hands down winner. Ultimately you are right it will eventually get here.
