Agree, hoping Tiger will play in all 4 this year! He should have a great chance at the Old Course this summer!

yeah as cool as it is he's playing this week, the real win is that it means he's definitely gunna be able to play the next 3 this year as long as he doesn't injure it somehow

he won’t withdraw even if he shoot’s a bad score. He has a fallback excuse and will just get in the reps to learn his body during a tournament. Saying that I don’t expect him to shoot some high number, his game looks good enough and it’s Tiger

11+ shots or worse off lead after Thurs = WD. If he makes cut he will again face this same decision come Sat night. Multiple people at the top in these conditions will make the decision even easier for him, but one or two outliers in the lead will keep him around longer.  IMO

He could do ok. 
 

TW 1.0 was always carrying the burden of expectations of winning.

 

TW 2.0 carried the burden of not winning for so long. Then he finally won again. 

 

Now, there’s none of that. He can just really focus on the only thing that matters in competition

Was listening to Brandel describe how Tiger plays “shots” off certain holes depending on “desired” shaping. Given Tigers trouble with the big-stick, he should adopt Morikawa’s new mentality and stick with a stock shape off the tee. Maybe throw in a couple draws for 13 and the like, but TWs bread and butter is fairway-to-greens and putting. With a stock shot off the tee he’d probably be so much more consistent.

I think that is his only shot shape with driver now, if he needs a draw off the tee he will pull 3w. I am think he said at one point drawing the driver is too hard on his back now
