Ok I’ll scratch for some positives. Could see he had a clear plan re. keeping his arms more in front of him. Might have started overdoing it on the back 9 and misses off the tee were consistently right. Even par in those conditions in his first tournament after making swing changes was pretty decent.

I don’t see him getting it back until he leaves McCormick. He should have last offseason. It’s gotta be tough to do since he’s been with him so long, but you can’t throw away so many of your prime years like this. Something has to change.

Great to see bad driving and missed greens being punished. Jordan and Brooks were all over the parish hence the weekend off.

Shame about Jordan, I watched the highlights on his first round, he looked to be playing much better. A smoother transition, and he was getting to his left side much better.

 

Encouraging, hopefully he can get back to full confidence very soon.

I was watching and they had a hail and rain delay.  Phil was on 17.  He had to birdie 17 and 18.  The weather was awful.  I turned it off for dinner.  Clutch by Phil in lousy conditions - cold, rainy, really windy and even almost hail.

 

Nice to see Bill Haas make the cut at -2.
