Yeah, toe-hang mallets have been a terrible choice for DJ, Rory, Rahm, Sergio, JT, Xander, Jason Day, etc.

not to pile on but I think that’s the trend on tour.  A lot of what goes Golf does is marketing but I think there’s some proof in the pudding , a high MOI flat stick something that matches a gated stroke. 
 

a lot of players at a high level noted above , have found great success with that equation

I’m having a hard time telling from the photos but obviously being void of a visible weld attachment is the neck on the 5.5 a one piece design with the head?... or is it a two piece design that has the clean no welded appearance from the exterior and is attached on the interior of the head with a weld or something? Hope this question makes sense

It appears to be glued into the head.

Looks like Max Homa is using the x11.5 with the slant neck and not the bent shaft.

Mixed feelings on this line only because I picked this up in January. I do really like the 11. If his has a slant neck version at the studio this may have to go on the block

Never paid much attention to the Holiday 20 release. Stumbled across the link and its exactly what I was looking for. 11.5 with a slant neck. Homa has one in his bag and reading why makes perfect sense. A more forgiving 5.5.  MIne will be here Monday

Correct. Switched last week from his Future T5W with the 303 body and black aluminum face.

Yes. Also Homa's has a line on the top line only (like the new 5.5), and no line on the back part of the body.
