Mizuno STZ-220. Gorgeous club, tons of forgiveness, amazing sound and feel. Not the longest driver on the list but frankly it's the one that most people should be playing. Sure you might give up 10 yards on a sweet spot hit versus say, a Cobra LTDx, but for the 99.999% of us who don't hit the sweet spot every time, the STZ-220 is going to keep your ball in play while losing almost no distance to a perfect strike.

The Cobra King LTDx has been an awesome fit for me. I have a GCQuad and being able to see the improvement in launch/spin vs my old driver has made the upgrade definitely worth it. There's nothing better than having confidence in your driver when on the course.

I game a standard Stealth and I love the consistency and distance of it, my swing just fits with newer TM drivers. I couldn’t hit TM’s drivers until the Sim 2 came out and the Stealth is even better in almost every way. 

With that being said, the DOY has to go to Cobra with the LTDX line, both drivers are outstanding in every single way, I’ve never hit a faster driver than the LTDX LS, TrackMan numbers were RIDICULOUS. The standard LTDX is no slouch either. 
I game the fairway wood, just so I can sleep at night knowing I have some kind of LTDX in my bag. 
Props have to go to Cobra for bringing out such a great club, whatever they’re doing, KEEP DOING IT.

I think Cobra got it wrong in calling the LTDX the unicorn because honestly the LTDX LS is the true Unicorn! Fastest head on the market and somehow they made it really forgiving too. They also knocked the looks and sound out of the park as well. Oh and all that  for less money than too. The LTDX line is DOTY!

Couldn’t agree more with the above WRX’ers…LTDX LS is the driver of the year!  Take it from someone who has had and tested almost every driver above and the Cobra is going to be seated in the bag for a while.  I love the Peacoat finish and this thing flat out performs!

Titleist TSi3 hands down is the best driver I have ever hit. Great sound, Great shape, Best distance and low spin.

I can't wait to see what the next generation of Titleist drivers look like, no doubt they will perform with the best!

TM made a huge leap this year with the Stealth line IMO.  Very consistent ball speed numbers all across the face as well as spin numbers even on mishits.  Rogue ST line is awesome too with the LTDx being the dark horse.

The Stealth Plus ability to seperate launch and spin coupled with its consistency across the face and high ball speeds is the winner for me.  First TM driver that I have seen tangible improvement over the 16 M2.

I voted Rogue max LS. Had it in the bag a week after release and it’s been solid. Even poor swings tend to not get too far offline. I must say I wish I gave the TSI3 a go. I skipped it because the new one is out later this year but man it is running away with it.

I wish I could vote for 2! The Mizuno STg 220 is an absolutely fantastic driver in every aspect but my newly acquired Cobra LTDx LS is just a little better in every aspect. Cobra LTDx LS, DOTY!!!

Stz-220 is by far the best driver this year. Best looks sound and Performance. Period. Coming from someone who’s owned the callaway rogue st max, has been to 3 taylormade fitting events, and fell in love with the cobra ltdx max ls and plays titleist irons and fairway woods, so you know I wanted that sweet black white and red tsi3 head cover in the bag! I even took the stz outta my bag. But one day after a so so driving day I took it out to play 18 and just the numbers man oh man. The ball flight I love seeing that I wasn’t getting with the rouge st max and the distance on off center hits, drop offs just minimal. You finish your round thinking you hit every ball on the sweet spot.

Since I bought myself a sim max d last season I wasn't in the market for a driver this year. However I did hit a lot of models at my fitting and the 2 that performed the best for me were the stealth (I think it was the plus), and the Callaway rogue st Max d. I'm choosing the Callaway because I just don't know how the stealth would hold up. If it holds up over time than I would say it's a tie.

Titleist TSi3 for me. Titleist topping tour bag counts says a ton, but the TSi3 defies the normal “2 for average joe, 3 for high speed guys” logic and performs for a wider range than any other Titleist driver I can recall. Fast, great adjustability, GREAT sound, has that classic pear 975 look. Cool that they are pushing titanium into uncharted areas instead of punting to carbon and glue-ups. That it doesn’t look like Optimus Prime’s driver is fine by me.

The TSi3 gets the best vote from me.  Even though I play the 2, since I was gifted it, I know I should be playing the 3 to reduce the spin rate.  I've been on the SIM's & have seen the difference first hand.  But knowing that in the future, I will be getting the lower spin version of the new driver coming out.  No reason to get one now.  I mean don't get me wrong, I like the 2, but I get that better trajectory window & my misses are manageable & still in play with the 3.  I can hit some wayward bombs with the 2.

Now that's a long long list, I did not try anywhere near all of them.  

 

Listening to friends here and on course defiantly helped me narrow the list.  This year, for me,  it was the Stealth that won a very short contest as it was exactly as I expected, a more forgiving SIM MAX.

Having hit the Mizuno and Cobra the longest with both is max 5 yards different but Mizuno is the most forgiving.
