I hit one at my local shop and then out at the range with the black 7X. My swing speed is typically 105-107 and that thing felt really boardy. I hit it straight but keep leaving it out left (lefty here). I tried the blue is 6S and I agree with whoever above that said it felt like a noodle. Those were the only two viable options available so going to have to get them to order a black in 6X and see how that one works.

 

Try a Hzrdus Smoke its a stock shaft should be easy to find you are probably a 6.5 flex

But what does speed really equate to for the average golfer? Plenty of reviews out there which show a mile or 2 more ballspeed don’t translate into more distance. SpeEd is the new marketing buzz word

I'll take speed all day. You can change spin and launch by manipulating the club head a bit (add weight in places, shaft changes, loft changes) but you can't add ball speed.

 

Besides, most OEM's are adding distance by lowering spin. That's a dangerous line to walk because that only works well for higher speed guys, and also for guys who don't struggle turning the ball over. That 1800 spin bomb is literally a few degrees away from being a 220 yard duck hook OB.

With the different mass properties of the 9° and 10.5° heads which are you choosing if you are in the 95-105mph range?

 

I plan on hitting before I make this decision, but am curious what y'all are seeing.

 

Curious also if anyone has measured the face angles of the 9 and 10.5 in the neutral setting. Do they sit similar?

blue 7x or black 6x would probably work best. Maybe a blue tipped a half inch?

Can anyone help me converting a RH adapter in a LH head?

I'm not 100% on this specific Cobra one, but for TM, the standard setting was the same, and so was the upright. Then.. if you were LH using a RH adapter and wanted to move up in loft physically, you'd move the adapter down in loft. Basically, the opposite of each other.

If your fit properly ever 1 mph should get you about 2-3 yards. Speed is literally the biggest factor in getting more distance.

Struggling to fine any White heads in the wild that don’t have plastic covering them (hence making them glossy) so it’s hard to get a good idea of the 2 tone colour!

I went 10.5 and lofted down to -1 .the adaptor and smart pad w cobra is amazing. Every setting looks neutral to me. Really good system. I swing 103ish. Played today and best 2 drives w arccos was 267 and 275 .figured 10 yard role on each as it's a little spongy out . Avg 254 for the day. One short 226 drive killed my avg. Love this thing

I’m little tossed between yellow and white. I hit the demo in yellow and seemed fine. Found a white on the rack with no plastic and looked good but unable to demo unless you want two pounds of duct tape on it. Probably going white to match the shaft I want. Might sound stupid but fits my eyehole. Sorry, but the carpet needs to match the drapes.

That sounds quite promising. I'm considering this in the Helium 4 R flex shaft and I'm right in your swing speed ballpark.

I was set on the yellow until I finally saw the white without the plastic on it. It’s perfect. The contrast between the gloss and the matte is incredible and frames the head perfectly. Initially, before seeing it (other than pictures), I thought the white head should have been completely matte. Now I realize Cobra got it right.
