My final word

The "can we shake?" fist bump? elbow bump? air five?" conclusion was the icing on this beautiful Nailed It cake of a competition (and like $20 mil to Covid relief!)

Thoroughly entertaining...and to ratchet up the hyperbole: four days of this Tiger Woods could certainly have won the Masters.

What a great event, easily the best golf tournament since the Presidents Cup. Props to TW for hitting EVERY fairway and keeping his team in the match during the back 9 when Payton hit almost every tee shot OB. Nice shot by Brady, he couldn't hit a golf club before that, but played well after. He's a champ.

Medalist looked like a flat, target golf hole after hole course. Seminole looked like it had some great elevations with the ridges and most holes that had options on how to play.

He was having fun, just like the rest of them. I think the comic relief, constant ribbing, and entertainment value this brought was spot on. Great to see all these guys in a "non-professional" environment.

It’s interesting how two people can look at the same thing and come to completely different conclusions. Aside from the sand dune ridge on the course, Seminole is completely open piece of land with a few palm trees and small ponds. There was no definition to the course, just an open chunk of land with some flags. As built up as people have made the course, given its exclusivity and fame, it was a complete let down to see on tv. Maybe it translates better in person, but just looking at it, if it were at all accessible, I wouldn’t pay more than $50 to play it.

 

if by “options” you mean you can spray it all over the property and have a shot at the green, I agree. Sail away without regard for accuracy because chances are you will be ok unless you find one of the few ponds.

I certainly enjoyed it on DVR. Way better than the terrible production of last week. Tiger was on point for sure, especially given those conditions.
